Wishing You Well

April 4, 2018

Hi, it’s Sandy Diller here with a cute idea for a get well wish.  This fun little tissue holder should bring a smile to anyone’s face – sick or not.

Let’s get started on this fun project –

Step 1 – Begin by cutting a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock to 4.5″ X 11″.

Step 2 – With long side of paper at the top of score board score at 4″, 6.5″, 7.5″ and 10″.  Fold on all score lines.

Step 3 – Using the April Showers Stamp Set, stamp and color desired images.

Step 4 – Using the April Showers Die Set, cut out images.

Step 5 – Using the Rainbow Sky Die Set, cut the largest cloud and stamp sentiment from April Showers Stamp Set.

Step 6 – Using the Banners Die Set, cut white banner for front.

Step 7 – Using the Banners Sentiment Stamp Set, stamp ‘wishing you well’ onto.

Step 8 – Using the Dashing Rectangles Die Set, cut the fourth largest rectangle in the set. Stamp with raindrops.

Step 9 – Using the Adventure Edges, cut a small piece for green hills. (Not shown in photo above.)

Step 10 – Cut patterned paper pieces measuring 3.75″ X 2.25″ and 3.75″ X .75″.

Step 11 – Adhere larger piece of patterned paper to the section that is next to the end. See above.

Step 12 – Adhere smaller piece of patterned paper to the next section as shown above. Adhere banner.

Step 13 – Using the smallest Fitted Oval die, cut hole in center of the larger patterned paper panel.

Step 14 – Fold and glue the plain 1″ section to the large panel as shown above.

Step 15 – Decorate the Dashing Rectangle with stamped pieces and attach to back section.  See below.

All that is needed now is a little folded tissue pack, found at most grocery and drug stores.

I hope you will give this a try and that you have fun with it,

Sandy

So very cute. I hope I can replicate it and make it as adorable. Can it be mailed as a flat after folding? Thank you.

This is a sweet project. I decorate the Kleenex pop-up paper towel boxes for Christmas, but this is really a nice idea for all year round. Thanks.

Cutest card ever but one question….can this be mailed? Does the top section fold over to make it flat for an envelope? Thanks!

Thank you GiGi, and yes, when you take out the tissues the bottom section will fold flat up against the back portion.

      I appreciate your comment,
      Sandy
