Winter Blessings

December 19, 2018

Hi Everyone, it’s Tina here. Today I have a final tutorial to share with you for the Christmas Holidays. It is super easy to do for any of those last-minute cards you might need to make. It uses the Christmas Kids Clear Stamps and Dies by Krista Schneider. Here are instructions so you can make your own Winter Blessings Card.

Step 1 – Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ and fold in half for a vertical side-fold card. (A2)

Step 2 – Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. Using an ink applicator apply Distress Oxide Ink in Faded Jeans, Stormy Sky and Tumbled Glass. Spray some water to activate the inks. Tap dry with a paper towel and then splash some acrylic white paint mixed with a little water to create a snow scene. Let dry completely.

Step 3 – Stamp Classic Christmas sentiment using the background from Step 2 towards the bottom on the left side using VersaFine Ink in Onyx Black.

Step 4 – Die cut Stitched Rectangles using background created from Step 2. Adhere to card base using foam tape.

Step 5 – Stamp Christmas Kids image on White Soft Finish Cardstock using VersaFine ink in Onyx Black. Color with medium of your choice. (Sample shown: Winsor & Newton ProMarkers for easy blending.) Die cut Christmas Kids matching image and adhere to card using foam tape.

Step 6 – For added interest and sparkle apply Crystal Nuvo Drops in Morning Dew to the Christmas ornaments and Nuvo Glitter Accents in Fresh Snowfall to the star at the top of the tree.

This card can be used for any occasion by changing the image, sentiment and colors. Below is a link to the products used. Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day.
