Non-Traditional Thanksgiving Card

Non-Traditional Floral Thanksgiving Card

Hi everyone! It’s Elena today and this time of year always makes me want to create some cards for Thanksgiving. I don’t own many traditional Thanksgiving themed stamps or dies so I decided to try an experiment to see if I could create a card with a Thanksgiving feel using the Color My Flowers stamps and dies from this past spring, but with fall colors and some easy, fun techniques. I like the result and hope you do too. It’s always nice for me to find new ways to use stamps and dies that I may not normally think of for certain holidays! Here’s how I made the card:

Hi Crafty Friends,

It’s Frances Byrne here with a tutorial to share with you. I am getting a head start on Father’s Day cards …. it’s only a few weeks away in the USA, however it isn’t until September down here in Australia where I live.

For my card I am playing with a few new products recently released by Elizabeth Craft Designs. I love the new Beach Glitter Palette! It’s perfect for beach scenes but also fabulous colors for masculine cards. I have also used four new die sets and one new stamp set from Joset Designs.

Galaxy Background Father’s Day Card

May 17, 2018

Hi there! It’s Elena today and I thought it would be fun to create a galaxy background for a Father’s Day card. The Take Time for You die set seemed like a great compliment to a space theme background since time and space go hand in hand. Plus, it’s a great message for Dad, who likely doesn’t take enough time for himself, right? Here’s how I made the card: Continue Reading
