Hey Crafters! Katelyn here, sharing with you my March Week 1 Planner Spread.

To create my planner spread, I’ve used a variety of the new dies from the Planner Essentials Collection as well as one of the past stamp sets from the collection. You’ll want to read below as I share with you how to recreate my planner spread at home.

Step One. You’ll need to choose a paper collection. Choose a piece of patterned paper from the collection and die cut two pages out of it using the page from the Planner Essentials 27 – Retro Number Trio. Ink the edges of both pages using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Two. Die cut the filmstrip die from the Planner Essentials 24 – Photo Frame Pages, four times out of black cardstock.

Step Three. From the Planner Essentials 21 – Note & Pieces die, you’ll need the arrow. Die cut the arrow once out of kraft cardstock. Die cut the arrow again out of a coordinating piece of patterned paper. Ink the edges of the arrows using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Four. Choose one of the banner styles from the Planner Essentials 27 – Retro Number Trio. Choose a couple of patterned papers that coordinate with your page. Die cut the medium banner out of one of the patterned paper. Die cut the small banner twice out of the other patterned paper. Ink the edges of all three banners using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Five. You’ll need the medium sized note piece and the curved stitched rectangle from the Planner Essentials 21 – Note Pieces Die. Die cut the note piece four times out of a piece of the patterned paper you’ve already used. Die cut the note piece out of kraft cardstock. Die cut the curved stitched rectangle twice out of kraft cardstock. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to each day of the week stamps from the Calendar stamp set and stamp each day onto one of the note pieces or rectangle. Use a black gel pen to write on them. Ink the edges of the note pieces and rectangles using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Six. Choose one of the reinforcement strips from the Reinforcement Variety Pack. Die cut the reinforcement strip twice out of kraft cardstock. You’ll need a total of twelve reinforcements. Ink the edges of the reinforcements using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Seven. From the patterned papers, choose twelve images to fussy cut out. Ink the edges of the images using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Eight. We will start assembling the left hand page. Adhere six of the reinforcements over top of the holes on the page. Adhere one of the film strips 1″ from the right and 3/4″ from the bottom of the page. Adhere the other film strip 1″ from the left and 1/8″ from the top of the page.

Step Nine. Adhere one of the fussy cut images 1 1/8″ from the right and 2 1/2″ from the top of the page. To the Monday piece, adhere one of the fussy cut images to the left hand side of it. Foam square the Monday to Wednesday pieces as desired on the page.

Step Ten. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere three more images as desired.

Step Eleven. To finish your page, use adhesive and foam square to adhere two more fussy cut images and a small banner as desired on the page. Adhere the patterned paper arrow on the right hand side of the Tuesday note, making sure the arrow points down to Wednesday.

Step Twelve. Now we’ll assemble the right hand page. Adhere six of the reinforcements over top of the holes on the page. Adhere one of the film strips 1 1/4″ from the left and 1/2″ from the bottom of the page. Adhere the other film strip 7/8″ from the right and 1/4″ from the top of the page.
