Hi Friends, it’s Sandy Diller here to share a project that would be good as a keepsake or a gift. I was in my local craft store a few weeks ago where I saw the cutest little box that contained a photo album. I thought I would give it a try using my own measurements and decorations. We recently took a trip to the beach so I thought this would be a good way to save some fun photos.
It’s Frances here and it is my turn to post a tutorial. Elizabeth Craft Designs recently released 21 new colors of Silk Microfine Glitter which are now added to my collection.
One of the things I remember Els telling me when I first met her about 2 1/2 years ago was to keep the protective backing with the adhesive sheets when you use them as these pieces can come in handy when doing some glitter techniques. My project today shows how to make use of these saved up pieces from adhesive sheets and uses a couple of the new glitter colors.
Shimmer Sheetz Pinwheel Party
By Judi Kauffman
Hello, all! I’m back as guest designer with a simple and versatile project: Shimmer Sheetz Pinwheels. These can be used on place cards and napkin rings or as cupcake and sundae toppers. Replace the lollipop sticks with longer waterproof plastic beverage stirrers and decorate your favorite party drinks with colorful Shimmer Sheetz Pinwheels. Or add some sparkle to a plant or flower arrangement. (Shimmer Sheetz is waterproof and colorfast, so the Pinwheels will last a long time.)
Hi everyone, It’s Joset here today sharing a colorful Happy Birthday Pinwheel card. Once I finished this card I remembered Frances showing me the beautiful card she created for her post yesterday using the Pinwheel die, so today’s pinwheel card with a different twist shows just how versatile the die can be. Pinwheels bring back fun memories from my childhood when I played with these colorful, shiny toys. I found one at the dollar store the other day and bought it for my daughter. We put it on the front of our bike so she could look at it when we go for a ride. She loves it! I hope you like pinwheels too. Here is how I created this card:
It’s my turn to post a tutorial on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog today. This time around I am playing with a couple of the new dies. I used the new Pinwheel die set from the Joset Designs collection to create double pinwheels.
