November 10, 2018

Hello Crafty Friends.

It is that time of year when many of us are celebrating life and being thankful.  In the northern hemisphere we are thankful for our harvest, the beautiful fall foliage, and perhaps the kids being back at school.  🙂   There are many reasons to be thankful-  especially for acts of kindness.  The gorgeous calligraphy stamp from the A Way With Words collection, A Bit of Fragrance, is perfect for your next thank you card and is the focal point of the thank card I am sharing today.

Hello Crafty Friends!

‘Tis the season to start on those holiday cards!  I know, I know.  It is “only” October – but if you are anything like me, you have to rush make some last-minute cards right before the holidays.  I seem to do this every year!  However, with the newly-released A Way With Words dies and stamps I can get several beautiful cards produced quickly.  Today’s card can be easily reproduced with festive results.

“Make a Wish Before The Place Burns Down” Birthday Card

July 21, 2018

Hello Crafty Friends!

This is the heart of birthday season for me.  Many of my friends and family have a birthday between now and the end of September.  I went through my birthday card stash last week and realized that I need to make several more.  Oh darn!  I guess that means more time in my craft room.  🙂

Today I am sharing two birthday cards created using the same instructions, stamps and dies.  The focal point of each card front is the funny quote from the Happy Birthday Collection stamp set by Suzanne Cannon: “Blow out the candles…”.  The instructions below list the products I used.

Let Your Heart Guide You

February 3, 2018

Hello Crafty Friends!

Can you believe it is February already?  Time is flying in 2018!  Although time is flying by, I have made sure to take the time to unwind and happily craft away.  It feels great to create as I forget about the snow on the ground and the shorter days.  Coming home when it is dark is not a problem when I think of the bright light on my craft table!

This week I created a card using a stamp from Suzanne Cannon’s Love & Hearts Collection.  What a sweet quote!  Would you like to make a similar card?  Well, grab a cup of warm tea or coffee and enjoy the instructions.

“Sweet Smiles” gift photo with frame

December 9, 2017

Hello Crafty Friends!

We are a week into December and many of us are happily creating or gathering gifts for loved ones on our Christmas list.  This week I completed a sweet gift for my brother-in-law.  He was married in September and the day was wonderful.  He and his new bride were big smiles the entire day.  His two daughters were in the wedding party and they were just as cute-as-a-button.  After the ceremony, I snapped a photo of his two daughters with my other niece and the photo is absolutely adorable!  One of my gifts to him is a frame of the photo.  The frame can be displayed all year (I hope!) and should bring back beautiful memories of the day.
