Wildflowers

Hello to all you wonderful craft-loving friends.  Today is my turn to post on Elizabeth Craft Designs blog with a design for Susan’s Garden Design Team.

The card I created features the wildflowers that grow right here in Maine.  The flowers are arranged in Susan’s Garden Notes Pottery Pitcher, a die that is made to look like an old enamel pitcher.  I love having the actual flowers to look at as I create them in paper.  Most of the wildflowers are found growing either in my field or along the roadside as I drive into town.  The one I could not find was the blue chicory.  I had my husband driving around to find some, but we were a few days too early and by the time I was ready to create the chicory they were in bloom.

Tulips in a Pottery Pitcher

Hello to all,

Welcome to Susan’s Garden.  This is Anita here and I am so happy to present to you a card made with some of the beautiful dies from Susan Tierney-Cockburn.

Today I have beautiful tulips in a pottery pitcher. I love the way this card turned out. I tried a new colouring technique and I think it gives a very realistic look to the flowers and leaves.

Roses and Ivy

Hello my crafty friends. Christine here from the Susan’s Garden Design Team  with a card that showcases some of Susan’s latest releases.  The new dies are Garden Notes Rose 3, Ivy Vine, and Pottery Pitcher.  Susan just keeps coming up with more and more wonderful dies.  The card is a 6″ X 6″  and here is how it was created.
