I Love Right Now

July 22, 2020

Good morning! Laura here today to share my newest layout using many ECD products!

To create this layout
Step 1 – take two papers from the Rusty Weathered paper kit.

Step 2 – cut one line approximately in the center along the bottom about 3″ long and one on the side in the center about 2″ long. Using your paper distressor tool or scissors distress the edges of the slits and fold back and adhere with double sided tape
Step 3 – Adhere the two pages together and distress the edges
Step 4 – fussy cut 3 flowers from one of the pages

Step 5 – create a photo mat for your photo 1/2″ bigger than your photo
Step 6 – Die cut two frames using the fitted rounded rectangle die set. I used the 5 1/2″ and 5 1/4″ die
Step 7 – Die cut a 3 lightbulbs from the Planner Essentials 20 from coordinating papers
Step 8 – die cut 3 circles from the Stitched Circles and create 3 rolled flowers
Step 9 – create photo mat and cluster as shown above

Step 10 – Die cut 11, 1 3/4″ stitched hexagons and distress the edges

Step 11 – adhere as shown

Christmas Elves Trifold Card

October 9, 2018

Hi Crafty Friends,

It’s Frances Byrne here and it is my turn to post a tutorial today. A few weeks ago Elizabeth Craft Designs released seven new Winter/Christmas themed stamp sets with coordinating die sets from licensed designer Krista Schneider. I have used one of these stamp sets with an older set from last year to create this fun Tri-fold card.

Anyone Need Some Mittens?

October 6, 2018

The best thing about winter for me is layering up!  I love sweaters and cozy flannels…

Though I am too old for mittens, I’d take them if they were offered to me by someone as adorable as this penguin.  I keep using this die set because it is just so cute and so easy to use.  Today the penguin is holding a pair of mittens made with a die set from the new A Way With Words release.  Did you know that Elizabeth Craft Designs also sells self-adhesive velvet sheets?!  It’s a perfect match!  This card came together very quickly. In addition to being a fun card to mail, it would be an extra special way to hint at the contents of a gift box containing gloves or mittens!

Where Flowers Bloom

August 11, 2018

Alert: Husband brag coming.  🙂

My husband knows I love flowers and he’s very good about buying me orchids – they last a really long time and it lets me have flowers blooming year round… which means there’s hope in our house all the time.  That is a good thing because we need it!  LOL!

Read on to find out how I made this card!

Happy 4th of July Shaker Card

June 21, 2018

Hi Crafty Friends,

It’s Frances Byrne here and it’s my turn to share a tutorial with you all today. With the 4th of July being less than 2 weeks away, I thought I would create a shaker card to celebrate the occasion.

Of course, living in Australia I don’t actually celebrate the holiday, but I had fun playing with a number of the new die sets which included the 4th of July & Frame It/Stitched Rectangle die sets.

Hi Crafty Friends,

It’s Frances Byrne here with a tutorial to share with you. I am getting a head start on Father’s Day cards …. it’s only a few weeks away in the USA, however it isn’t until September down here in Australia where I live.

For my card I am playing with a few new products recently released by Elizabeth Craft Designs. I love the new Beach Glitter Palette! It’s perfect for beach scenes but also fabulous colors for masculine cards. I have also used four new die sets and one new stamp set from Joset Designs.

Don’t Be Afraid to Go Bold with Lilies

January 20, 2018

Hi, Diana here! Have you ever seen one of those time lapsed videos of flowers blooming?  It’s quite amazing. This quote from the Where My Flowers Bloom Collection stamp set reminded me of those videos. Flowers open ever-so-slowly, but then they’re in full bloom! And it’s quite beautiful to behold.  I combined this quote with one of my favorite flowers – Stargazer Lilies. They are so vibrant and bold – and a lot taller than you would think!  Read on to find out how I made this card.
