Blooming Tulips from Susan’s Garden

HELLO !!!!

Welcome to the ECD blog. I hope spring is in full bloom in your garden. Flowers are popping up everywhere and winter blues are fading away.

Today I have tulips for you from Susan’s Garden and believe me, they are so beautiful!!! I have an entire dozen of them on my card.

Entwined Circles Shimmer Sheetz Ornament

I love making flat Shimmer Sheetz ornaments. They provide a lot of sparkle to the tree, look great on a door or in a window, or suspended from a branch on a holiday table, plus they’re lightweight, quite durable, easy to mail in a standard envelope – tucked inside a card or with a small gift tag added to the hanging loop.

This one came together by serendipity. I knew I wanted to nest all three sizes of Entwined Circles for a single ornament, but I hadn’t envisioned incorporating the curved scraps until I was about to throw them away… Instead, I saved them and used them to create a cluster that resembles pine needles.

Joy to the World

The temperatures are beginning to drop and it won’t be long before some of us see snow.  Good Morning, this is Selma Stevenson today and I designed a card using the Els van de Burgt Studio 5 Part Pine, Stitched Ovals and Entwined Ovals and a piece of the Through The Lens – Wood Cardstock.  To embellish this scene, Susan’s Garden Notes Small Poinsettia, Whitepine Bough & Pinecone and CountryScapes Critters 1 die sets were used.  For the snowbanks, Karen Burniston’s Outdoor Edges die set plus her Holiday Clear Stamp Set were used.  Here is how the card was created:
