September 24, 2019

Hey Crafters! Katelyn here, sharing with you my September Week #3 planner spread for my planner.

To create this spread, I’ve used a variety of dies from the Planner Essentials collection and Joset Designs. I hope you enjoy my tutorial!

Step One. Choose some patterned paper (mine is from the Georgia Blues Collection). Die cut the page from the Planner Essentials – 4 page out of the paper. Die cut the page from the Planner Essentials – 2 page out of the paper. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the chicken wire stamp from the Background Stamp 1 and stamp randomly on each page. Reapply ink as needed. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the script stamp from the Background Stamp 2 and stamp randomly on each page. Reapply ink as needed. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the September month from the Months stamp set and stamp onto the tab on the left hand page. Distress the edges of each page. Ink the edges of each page using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Two. Choose a patterned paper (mine is from the Spring Farmhouse collection). Die cut the reinforcement circles from the Planner Essentials – 1 die twice out of the patterned paper. Ink the edges of the 12 reinforcements circles using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Three. Die cut seven labels from the Planner Labels die out of kraft cardstock. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the days of the week from the Schedule stamp set and stamp each one day of the week on each of the labels. Use a black pen to write in to-do’s on each label. Distress the edges of each label. Ink the edges of the label using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Four. Choose another patterned paper (mine is from the Spring Farmhouse paper). From the Planner Essentials – 6 die, die cut two large rectangles out of the patterned paper. Distress the edges. Ink the edges of the rectangles using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Five. From the Stitched Indented Rectangle die, die cut two 3″ rectangles out of the same patterned paper used for the reinforcement circles. Distress the edges. Ink the edges of the rectangles using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Six. Choose another patterned paper (mine is from the Spring Farmhouse paper). From the Stitched Indented Rectangle die, die cut two 3 1/2″ rectangles out of the patterned paper. Distress the edges. Ink the edges of the rectangles using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Seven. From the Diagonal Stitched Fishtails, die cut the 1 1/2″ fishtail twice out of kraft cardstock. Distress the edges of each fishtail. Ink the edges of each fishtail using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Eight. Choose another patterned paper (mine is from the Spring Farmhouse paper). From the Diagonal Stitched Fishtails, die cut the 1 7/8″ fishtail twice out of the patterned paper. Distress the edges of each fishtail. Ink the edges of each fishtail using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Nine. From the Diagonal Stitched Fishtails, die cut the 1 1/8″ fishtail twice out of the same patterned paper used for the large rectangles. Distress the edges of each fishtail. Ink the edges of each fishtail using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Ten. Choose a flag from the Celebration Flags die. From the same patterned paper used for the 3″ stitched indented rectangle, die cut two of the flags out. Cut both flags down to 3 3/4″. From the same patterned paper used for the large rectangles, die cut two of the flags out. Cut one of the flags down to 4 1/4″ and cut the other flags down to 3 1/4″.
