Hello! Diana here with a Summer Fun card I made after the Scrapbook Expo in Chantilly. I had such a great time helping out at the ECD booth with the Silk Microfine Glitter demonstrations that I got some and continued to play with it once I got home. At the Expo, I also picked up the Slider and Spinner die set. Here’s my card combining the two. It’s been a while since I made a slider card and what I love about this die set is that there are four different shape slots you can make for the interactive feature instead of just the usual straight line. The A Way With Words Dies ‘Summer’ and ‘Fun’ dies are the perfect topping for this card.
Hello! It’s Suzanne here today with a fun summer card that will cheer anyone who receives it! Here on the westcoast of Canada it feels like we went straight from winter to summer as we are enjoying an amazing run of warm weather. I have the beach on my mind. And that’s how this card came about! (oh, wait, maybe that was the trip to Hawaii…..)
Here is how you can make it!
Spring Lilacs
April 5, 2017Spring has finally arrived and soon the air will be filled with the wonderful fragrance of lilacs. We can create realistic lilacs for our cards and other projects using Susan’s Garden Notes Lilac die set. Using the A Way With Words 4-Seasons die set we can complete a perfect Spring card. Here is how this card was created.
Hello!! It’s Wanda here. I love the colors of Fall and the not so hot days. It’s a beautiful time of the year. Today’s card celebrates Autumn, its wonderful colors, and friendship.
Decorating wreaths is a great tradition. Good Morning, this is Selma Stevenson today with a Wintertime Wreath. This type of wreath is probably most popular in the South, but is so easy to create a beautiful card by using Susan’s Garden Notes Southern Magnolia and Garden Notes Evergreen Wreath die sets. Here is how the card was created.
Shimmer Sheetz Summer Seashells
By Judi Kauffman
Hello, everyone. I’m glad to be back as today’s guest designer.
If it weren’t for seashells and how the sun looks over water at dawn and dusk, I’d probably never set foot on a beach! There. I’ve said it. I don’t venture onto the sand unless it’s my preferred time of day or a season other than summer. During the hours that others are baking themselves and cavorting in the water I’m happily indoors, listening to a book on tape and making cards.
Summer Friends – Split Panel Card
July 2, 2016A big summer hello! It’s Suzanne here today with a card that is quickly becoming my “go to” card for its ease of assembly and its ability to look completely different depending on the words you choose and how you coordinate your patterned papers. In addition to Summer Friends, shown above, there are more samples right after the supply list, so be sure to take a peek!
For today’s card, I chose to combine Summer and Friends in light summery cottage colours, but it would be simple to convert this into a birthday or anniversary card. The addition of the flourish from Calligraphic Elements is perfect underneath a word (like Friends or Thanks) where the die has no “built in” flourish under the word.
Here is how I made this cheery baby!
Spring Birthday Easel Card
June 11, 2016Happy Saturday! We meet again. It’s Suzanne back again today with another conversation with her craft supplies… Some of these supplies have been calling to me for a long time, others I had to coerce to come out to play. I promised them grand things!
Here is a birthday card for the people in your life who were born in the spring. They’re going to love the Magnolia flower placed on a rustic wooden surface and displayed on an easel card.
