January 4, 2021

Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. Before we get started I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year and better days!

Today I am sharing a card combining different product from Elizabeth Craft Designs. I mixed Joset Designs, Sue Stamps and Planner Essentials to create this super cute Slimline Card. Below is the steps to create your own card.

Step 1 – Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 7” x 8 1/2”, score at 3 1/2” and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (Slimline)

I used Tumbled GLass, Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot. Optional – Add Gouache onto an acrylic block and spray it with a little water. Using a paintbrush splash onto the background created to give the illusion of snow. Let dry.

Step 3 – Stamp Hugs sentiment (Jingle All The Way) using Versamark onto the panel created from Step 2. Sprinkle White Embossing Powder and remove the excess. Heat set it with a Heat Tool. Adhere to card front using 3mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape.

Step 4 – Diecut Planner Essentials 12 Arrow Page & Trees using Green Cardstock for the tree with holes, Red Metallic Cardstock for the solid tree and Gold Glitter Cardstock for the star. Assemble using Kids Choice Glue. Adhere to card using Kids Choice Glue.

Below you will find the easy steps to create your own floating monkey card.

Step 3 – Trim White Soft Finish to 3″ x 6 1/2″. Stamp Safari Sayings Sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black Ink. (I used washi tape to cover Go Bananas before inking the stamp. Be sure to remove the washi tape before stamping). Adhere to card with 3mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape.

Step 4 – Using Life Changing Brushes apply Distress Oxide Inks on White Soft Finish Cardstock. (I used Scattered Straw and Walnut Stain).
Diecut Monkey using the correct colored cardstock for each piece. Assemble the Monkey using Fine Tweezers and Kids Choice Glue. Be sure to use a black fine tip marker to draw the mouth (just follow the embossed area).

Hi Everyone, it’s Tina here with my first post for 2019. Before we get started I wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year and I wish you all a fabulous year ahead. With the holidays over I thought I would share a card without a snow theme… so I am sharing some sunshine and color your way using the Color My Flowers Stamp set. Below are the instructions so you can make your own Floral Inside Shadow Box.

Step 1 – Trim a sheet of White Soft Finish Cardstock measuring 8 1/2″ x 11″ in half so you have 2 sheets measuring 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″.

Step 2 – The first sheet will be scored at 4 1/4″ an folded in half. You will need to trim 1/2″ from the back. See photos.

Step 3 – The second sheet will be scored at 1/2″, 4 1/4″ and 4 3/4″. Fold all and then snip about 1/8″ off from the 1/2″ section. See photos.

Step 4 – Using the first sheet you will emboss the Garden Notes – Frame It Stitched Ovals. This will be the front of your card. See photo.

Step 5 – Mask the outer section of the embossed area as you will be stamping on the inside of the embossed oval. Stamp Color My Flowers Clear Stamps all around the inner edge using Versafine Onyx Black Ink. Remove the masking carefully.

Step 6 – Stamp Sentiment Banner underneath the Embossed Oval. I used Hello Sunshine!

Step 7 – The second sheet you will diecut the Garden Notes – Frame It Stitched Oval. This will be the opening of your shadow box which will be decorated. See photo.

Step 8 – Now we need to assemble the two sheets. Place 3mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape to second sheet on the 1/2″ area. Remove the relase sheet and align it with the crease of sheet one. Fold over the front and press firmly to secure it. See photo.

Step 9 – Turn it over and add 3mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive to the edge and crease. Remove the release sheet and close the right side and then fold the left side. See photos.

Step 10 – Stamp Color My Flowers on White Soft Finish Cardstock using Memento Ink for Alcohol Coloring. It will be the same flowers and leaves you used for the front of the card. Color in the stamped images using Alcohol Markers of your choice. I used Winsor & Newton Promarkers. Diecut the images with the matching dies. Adhere the flowers and leaves in the same position as the front and adhere to the inside of the Oval using Kid’s Choice Glue. For added interest use a White Gel Pen to add sme detail to the flowers.

Step 11 – For added interest and sparkle add some colored sequins to the center of the flowers on the front of the card.

I hope you enjoyed a break from all the Holiday and Winter cards. This card can be used for any occasion by changing the images, colors and sentiment. Below is a link to all the products used. Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
