A Way With Words Krista Schneider Soft Finish Cardstock Stamping

Such Sweet Flowers

May 27, 2019

It’s Karen here today with a card I made using the fun flower in the Flower Power Clear Stamps along with a stencil called Dotty.

Here are the steps to replicate these cards:

Step 1. From 90lb White Soft Finish Cardstock, cut a 8-1/2″ x 11″ sheet in half cross-wise (at 5 1/2″) and fold in half.

Step 2. Stamp with permanent black ink the flower from the Flower Power Clear Stamps and die cut it with the coordinating dies.

Step 3. Color the flower with the following Copic markers.

Step 4. For the card front, tape a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock to the table surface and place the Dotty stencil over the top. Tape both down with Washi tape. Apply ink through the stencil with a dauber. I used Tim Holtz inks in Salty Ocean, Picked Raspberry and Broken China.

Step 5. Die cut the card front with the 3rd largest Stitched Rectangle.

Step 6. Adhere a pink cardstock piece 4″ x 5-1/4″ to the card base. Adhere the dotty-stenciled die cut piece on top of it.

Step 7. Stamp the sentiment from the General Sentiments Clear Stamps on a piece of white cardstock measuring 3/4″ x 4-1/4″ and adhere in the middle.

Step 8. Add the flower using pop tape.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Craftily yours,

Karen
