Hello, it’s Karen Burniston with a dozen inspiring ideas for the Pop it Ups Lucy Label die.
First, meet Lucy.
We adopted Lucy from the animal shelter when she was about a year old. She is a Puggle, which is a pug/beagle mix. Lucy’s special skills include barking, digging, chewing, destroying, escaping and shedding.
But Lucy is also sweet, fun, joyful and friendly, which are, coincidentally, the primary features of the Pop it Ups Lucy Label die that was named in her honor.
The Lucy Label is a generic pop-up die. You can learn how to assemble the Lucy Label by watching this video on the General Pop it Ups dies:
Because the Lucy Label is so generic, it’s a great all-around choice for any occasion, as you’ll see in the following dozen ideas.
First, here is the card that I started in the video. I went ahead and finished it out with some metal embellishments and the Agatha Edges flourish.
Gretchen Schmidt illustrates the simplicity of the Lucy Label perfectly with this cute Get Well Card.
Donna Wright chose not to use the upper stair step platform so she left it in the collapsed position for this Birthday Card
Frances Byrne has created a delicious scene in this Chocolate Card.
Fran Sabad illustrates how the Lucy Label can be used in any size card, even very small ones, as she’s done here on her Valentines Day Card.
Helen Cryer used a stamp carving kit to make her own “hello” stamp that would perfectly fit the Lucy Label. Such great colors on this Hello Card.
Helen Cryer also made this card, where the Lucy Label blends in with the background to provide a platform for her Tea Scene.
Fran Sabad made this beautiful Love Card combining lots of patterned paper and elements.
Raquel Mason got clever by turning Lucy on her side to make a horizontal pop-up and then adding a Honeypop turtle for even more pop-up fun in her Turtally Awesome Day card.
Kelly Booth created a wonderful scene by decorating the Lucy Label as a fishing pier for this Valentines Day Card featuring Purple Onion Designs stamps.
Karen Aicken left the upper stair step platform in the collapsed position for this fun Trouble card.
And finally, another great Thanks card by Helen Cryer.
So there you have it – a dozen inspiring ideas for the Pop it Ups Lucy Label die.

As for the real Lucy, we have discovered that the only thing louder and more destructive than one Puggle is . . .
Two Puggles!
