Peel-Off Stickers Pop it Ups

Pop it Ups Wednesday with Caz – Iron Fence

September 14, 2016

Hi Crafting Friends, it’s Caz here and I am back with another Pop it Ups Wednesday card and today I have used the Pop it Ups IRON FENCE to create summery scene. As Autumn approaches I am holding onto the memories of summer with some pretty trees and colourful birds.

First thing I did was choose the size card I wanted and for this one it was 5″ x 7″. I cut down some decorative papers to cover all panels.

They were cut just smaller than the card base. Inside were stripy, outside was floral, with strips of green plaid cut for grass.

After sticking the card pieces down I went on to die cutting all the pieces I needed. This included 3 white fences, 2 tree trunks, 6 large leaves (clouds) and 6 small leaves (clouds), 2 birds and 3 grass strips.

To make sure the trees were visible I extended the trunks with Through the Lens cardstock.

I then went onto build the Iron Fence card as per Karen Burniston’s instructions HERE

I used ink pads and daubers to add the colour to the birds and had fun creating a little scene.

After I had cut and assembled all the pieces I thought it would be fun to add a little banner to the fence and cut that.

On the front you can see I chose a stamp from the Occasions clear stamp set and used it with the Labels and Circles dies.
