Hi Crafting Friends, its Caz here and I am back with another Pop it up Wednesday and with summer time now arrived (someone ought to tell the weather that) I wanted to make a sunny, bright card and I decided on a Ring Accordion card with some flowery papers.
Accordions are real WOW cards and fold totally flat to slip into a regular envelope.
First off I cut all the pieces I needed for the album. With the Ring Accordion, as with all of them you choose how many pages you want and I went with 3.
I choose to make one of the pages from Acetate. I cut 4 of the patterned paper and stuck this on top of the yellow card to give it more stability. I used the pink card edges on the acetate page and cut 8 of these.
Below you can see the pages assembled. I did add two further green circles to the design. The patterned paper is on either side of the yellow card.
Next I got to work on making a bee hive using Karen’s Basket Props. I also used the flies from the Frog set to decorate into bees. Using ink pads to add color on the white Soft Finish cardstock.
I also used the flies from the Frog set and used them as bees. Added pencil detail for the grass.
I then I set about make “Honey” the bear.
Card was assembled and I used Josets Bee die for the last page. Which you can see on the first photo.
And here is what I used to create this card.

Love the bee hive from the basket die and those clever flies disguised as bees!!!
Caz, this is so clever and cute! Great coloring and well everything about it is a home run!
Caz I love the way you came up with the bee hive! And coloured those flies to become bees? Clever! Fun, summery card.
Certainly a lovely “summery” card!
What a fun card Caz! Love the acetate ring accordion page and the combination of Honey the Bear, the bee and honeycomb.
Brilliant card design and tutorial…loved your papers and coloring, too.
