Party Animal

February 12, 2019

Karen here today! I’m excited to be using one of the new releases from Joset! There is an all-new amazing collection of characters and accessories. I used the Giraffe, Party Accessories, Adventure Edges 2 and Safari Sayings in my card today!

Here are the steps to replicate the card:

Step 1. From 85lb White Soft Finish Cardstock, cut a rectangle measuring 4-1/4″ x 11″; score at 5-1/2″ and fold in half to create a top-fold card base.

Step 2. Die cut the fence from Adventure Edges 2 set and the mustache, party hat and bow tie from the Party Accessories set.

Step 3. Color the tops and bottoms of the fence with Copic E41, the bow tie with B41, the mustache with E43, and the hat with B41 and B95. Note: I decided later not to put the hat on my card, and instead I decorated my envelope with it!

Step 4. Using the Stitched Rectangle Dies, cut a piece of the Rainbow Bark 6×6 Collection with the fence adhered to it.

Step 5. With permanent black ink, stamp the sentiment from Safari Sayings onto the corner of the patterned paper.

Step 6. Die cut the pieces of the Giraffe Die using brown, gold and light beige cardstock. I adhered clear double sided adhesive to the back to make assembly easier. Adhere the giraffe to the card front, and add on the mustache and bow tie.

Step 7. Adhere the card front to the card base.

Step 8. Add a few enamel dots.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Craftily yours, Karen

love everything about Elizabeth Crafts, but can I suggest something in the engagement line- stamps/dies etc
I have searched high and low across all brands and unable to find “nice” engagement words in either stamps or dies in a variety of fonts and sizes.
