Good morning ECD fans! Do you struggle with creating masculine cards like I do? Why not create several cards to have on hand that can be used for both men and women.
Joset’s Feathers are perfect for creating these types of cards!
Let’s get started:
Step 1: Cut the Diamond Background out of Soft Sky Soft Finish Cardstock and adhere it to a top-fold A2 size card front. (4.25″ x 5.5″)
Step 2: Cut a large square of White Soft Finish Cardstock and blend Peacock Feathers, Abandoned Coral, and Cracked Pistachio Distress Inks onto the entire surface, spritz with water, air dry or dry with a heat tool to speed the process. Die cut the feathers.
Step 3: Stamp some of the feathers using a script background stamp in very light ink and tip each feather with gold embossing powder.
Step 4: Cut two Stitched Fishtail Banners out of printed paper and one out of a scrap of white cardstock.
Step 5: Stamp the white banner with the Happy Birthday sentiment from General Sentiments stamp set.
Step 6: Assemble the card as shown below.
Step 7: Tie a piece of twine round the shafts of the feathers and adhere to the card front, along with sequins, using Kids Choice Glue.
Here’s another simpler version using Joset’s Feathers:
