I would use the stitched Hexagon and the Tropical dies I have this beach chair frame and want to add them to the beach chair I think it would add so much character to the frame and it would sit in my craftroom. Thanks for sharing.

I love all your stamps. It’s always a hard choice trying to pick one out when I have a little extra money. Thank you for a chance to win.

I haven’t used a hexagon design before but I love these card ideas. Especially EK’s card and Laura’s layout. Thanks for the fabulous inspiration.

Okay, I’ll admit it, if you asked me for ideas on what to do with hexagons, I probably would have given you a blank look. Then I saw all the things the designers came up with. Wow! So many cool ideas. I am especially taken with the easel card. That is where I would start with the stitched hexagons.

What creative cards. I wish my cards were as beautiful as these.

  • Reply shartl June 20, 2018 at 1:08 pm

The flamingo cards are the cutest ever!! I would use hexagons to make cards. They would work for a shaped card base, a frame, or just to scatter across the card front.

  • Reply Michele Baird June 20, 2018 at 1:04 pm

    These are simply fabulous

  • Reply karenladd June 20, 2018 at 12:29 pm

These are all so creative but I really love Luciana’s card with the tropical flowers tucked in around the layered hexagons. Just gorgeous!!

  • Reply Sue D June 20, 2018 at 9:05 am

My favorite ways to use hexagons are bee themed projects and quilt themed projects.

I haven’t used hexagons much. I liked the way it was used on several cards as the background for the main picture. Really made the card image stand out. I just bought a he ounch- am getting inspired to use it now! Thanks.

  • Reply Patricia Sakrismo June 19, 2018 at 8:36 pm

Like to use them as a focal point on a card or as a card base.

  • Reply F. Andre June 19, 2018 at 7:44 pm

All the samples shared today are lovely. Hexagon shapes are great for framing sentiments or providing a backdrop for the card’s focal point.

I love the Hexagon Easel Card with the Flamingos on it and the building blocks baby card. Such creativity. I’m really into making baby cards at the moment so I’m going to have to try that technique this weekend. Thanks for the inspiration.

  • Reply Rose June 19, 2018 at 4:04 pm

As a frame for my focal point.

  • Reply Heather June 19, 2018 at 3:46 pm

I loved how you made the building blocks out of them for like a baby card. So creative with the many options available – more than I ever thought of.

  • Reply Cindy Wilson June 19, 2018 at 3:13 pm

Hexagons are fun. I like that you can use them for either sex. Some awesome examples shown here.

  • Reply Janet Gundrum June 19, 2018 at 2:38 pm

Hexagon frames are so easy to work with, I like making frames with them the best. All really nice cards but framed flowers are beautiful. Hope to see you in Lancaster in July.

  • Reply Birgit Norton June 19, 2018 at 2:06 pm

I don’t own the hexagon dies but I love Frances easel card using them. I can also see that they make great frames and Elena’s idea of turning them into blocks was brilliant! Thanks so much for the chance to win!

  • Reply YVETTE WILLIAMS June 19, 2018 at 1:08 pm

The first thing I go to is making a bee hive. Using them as frames for a different shape than the usual.

  • Reply Anneke Schep June 19, 2018 at 1:03 pm

I am very inspired by all the possibilities I have seen with both the stitched and the fitted hexagon dies.
Honestly I can not remember having used a hexagon in a card but I definitely will but I can’t make a choice what my favorite will be. I love the use in the background but I also like experimenting the shape as a card by itself. Using a hexagon as a tag is also cute. Thank you for this challenge, it is ver inspiring and I kind of needed inspiration to pick up on (or get back to) my card making.

  • Reply Jan Metcalf June 19, 2018 at 11:50 am

So many great ideas! I really like the flamingos on a hexagon, the grill too! And the stack of small hexagons under the sand castle was nice as well! Will give this a try if I win!

  • Reply Bessie Phillips June 19, 2018 at 11:31 am

I really liked EK Gorman use of stitched hexagons to form the large hexagon. It is an interesting shaped card with the use of coordinating papers!

  • Reply Luanna June 19, 2018 at 11:21 am

What an amazing variety of ways to use hexagons. The design team outdid themselves. I love all the inspiration they have given me!

  • Reply Katherine Deuel June 19, 2018 at 11:17 am

I’m just starting to use the hexagons and love the versatility of the stitched version. I have used them to accent an area on a card to draw the eye to a highlight. I am also a quilter, so am looking forward to fitting the different colors and textures together to form an overall design on my scrapbook pages.

  • Reply RaVonna Johnson June 19, 2018 at 11:13 am

I love all the projects but I especially love Selma’s card. These hexagons are really very versatile.
