Easy Multi-Colored Easter Eggs

February 15, 2017

Hello crafty friends, it’s Summer Hills-Painter here.
Today I want to share with you a fun technique for multi-colored Easter eggs. Let me show you how I made my card.

Instructions:
1. Cut a piece of white cardstock. Using finger dauber, apply colors in random places. This card uses Tumbled Glass, Cracked Pistachio, Squeezed Lemonade, Abandoned Coral, Spun Sugar, and Shaded Lilac Distress Inks.

2. Using a spray bottle, add random splashes of water and blot with a paper towel. Allow cardstock to dry or heat with a heat tool.

3. Using the eggs from the Props 7 die set, cut eggs out of random spots on the cardstock.

4. Cut a piece of cardstock 7 ¼” x 5 1/4”. Score cardstock at 3 5/8”. Cut a cardstock layers at 1 7/8” x 5 ¼”, 1 ¼” x 5 ¼” , and 3 3/8” x 5 1/4”. Adhere to the 1 7/8” panel 1/8” from the left side of the card base. Adhere the 1 ¼” panel to the left side of the score line leaving a 1/8” space between. Finally, center the 3 3/8” panel to the right half of the card base.

5. Using the rectangle pull card die, Aline the placement nubs on the score line and run through your die cutting machine.

6. Fold on the score lines and decorate with Lucky the Rabbit and the basket and cut out eggs.
