Hello Crafty Friends!
Kathy Jo here sharing a quick and easy gift card holder for the a person on Santa’s “Good List”. The card is so fun and simple to make that you won’t stop with just one! The focal point of the card front uses the sweet Christmas Collection stamp set by Suzanne Cannon.
Instructions:
- Create the card base:
- Cut cardstock or patterned paper 4″ x 12″.
- Score vertically at 4″ and 8″.
- Cut from the top of the 8″ score to the bottom of the 12″ corner.
- Apply tape along bottom edge shown.
- Fold scores in.
Create card front:
- Die cut red glitter paper (shown) or red cardstock using Dotted Scallop Rectangle die.
- Die cut ivory cardstock using Stitched Rectangle die.
- Use black ink to stamp sentiment on ivory rectangle.
- Mount both to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape.
Create inside detail:
- Die cut red glitter paper or red cardstock using Dotted Scallop Rectangle die.
- Die cut ivory cardstock using Stitched Rectangle die.
- Use black ink to stamp sentiment on ivory rectangle.
- Mount both to inside of card using Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape. Tuck the gift card into the pocket.
