Hello, fellow crafters! Diana here today to ask that you dream big and to have fun while doing it! Personally I find this hard to do as I like my little comfort zone but I’m hoping to be more daring this year and take some risks. And I know some like-minded folks so I though this card would be a great way to encourage one another. As always, I kept it pretty clean but I think that wood grain background photographed by Els really ties it all together. Read on for the instructions on how to make this encouraging card for someone in your life.
Step 1 – Die cut the Evergreen Wreath on watercolor paper and smoosh it on a distress ink mix puddle like below. (Simply blot different green ink pads on a sheet of acetate and spritz with water.)
Step 2 – Die cut A Way With Words Dream on dark purple card stock and light purple cardstock. Glue the darker purple on top of the lighter, slightly offsetted
Step 3 – Die cut Alphabet Caps on white card stock and dark purple card stock. Glue B, I, and G cut outs with the white on top of the dark purple, slightly offsetted also.
Step 4 – After die cutting the Dahlia on the light purple card stock, use a purple ink to sponge the edges. Shape with the appropriate tools and mats.
Step 5 – Adhere all of the diecuts on top of a trimmed (to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ ) wood grain sheet from the Through the Lens – Wood – paper pack.
Step 6 – Mat the card front to an A2 card base from brown card stock.
Thank you so much for looking! Happy crafting and don’t forget to pursue your dreams!
Diana
