Craft Drops Planner Essentials Soft Finish Cardstock

Documenting Life

March 17, 2020

Karen here today from Craftily Yours! I absolutely love the Planner Essentials Line from Elizabeth Craft Designs for documenting special occasions, travel and other bits of life. Today, I am showcasing a page that I created documenting a visit to the National Geographic Museum in Washington DC. I’d like to say that I planned my “green” page for St Patrick’s Day today – but that was really just luck!

The page base is from my most used Planner Essentials die set – Planner Essentials 4. I cut a piece of patterned paper to 4″ x 8-1/4″ and lined it up with a small border on the left, top and bottom.

I die cut one of the Planner Patterns dies and cut it into a few pieces to add a bit of interest around the outside of the page. I really love the reinforcements from the Reinforcement Variety Pack. Mixing them up on the page is so fun.

And I love love love the notes dies from the Planner Essentials 21 – Note Pieces set. For this “tag” – I die cut after printing the words on a sheet of 90 lb White Soft Finish Cardstock. The silver stem I used here and above the picture is from the Planner Essentials 25 – Double Heart Insert set.

Finally, I added a couple Metallic Silver Craft Drops to the tag, love how they just add a little extra “umph” to a page.

Thank you for stopping by!

Craftily yours, Karen
