The winners will receive the following:  Joset Designs Pinwheel; Els van de Burgt Flower Cluster 1; Susan’s Garden Tulip 2; Suzanne Cannon A Way with Stencils -Butterfly Kaleidoscope Stencil; Krista Schneider Spring Blooms Stamp & Die set and ModaScrap Happy Flowers.

We will select 3 lucky winners in a random drawing.
The winners will be announced on Friday, March 24 here on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog.

Now let’s take a look at the wonderful floral creations our talented Design Team have created for the Challenge this month. For more information about the cards, click on the designer’s name under each card to be taken directly to the designer’s blog and view the post in a new window.

To start us off for the month, Karen Nofziger used Krista Schneider’s Spring Blooms Stampd and Coordinating dies to create her card. For the background Karen used the A Way with Stencils – Dotty on White Soft Finish Cardstock. She added a Beaded Ovals Frame from Els van de Burgt Studio, die cut from Soft Sky Soft Finish Cardstock. To finish off her card Karen added a colorful butterfly, die cut with the Small Butterfly die, also from Els van de Burgt Studio.

Kelly Booth had so much fun with this challenge that she made two cards. For her first one, above, Kelly used the Krista Schneider Spring Blooms stamp set with coordinating dies. Kelly layered the flowers onto a piece of designer paper die cut with the Stitched Fishtails from Els van de Burgt Studio and finished off her card using the A Way with Words – Hello die.

For her second card Kelly used the Krista Schneider Flower Power stamp set and coordinating dies. Kelly created a pull card using the Pop it Ups Circle Spiral Pull Card die set and added the word Celebrate from Els van de Burgt Studio.

Melanie Smith  is “celebrating you” with her floral card. Melanie used the Krista Schneider Spring Blooms stamp set, stamped onto White Soft Finish Cardstock and then die cut using one of the labels from the Pop it Ups Labels & Circles die set. For the sentiment Melanie chose the Celebrate die and the word ‘You’ from the Thinking of You die set, both from Els van de Burgt Studio.

Frances Byrne says “Hello” with her floral card, above. For her card Frances used the Krista Schneider Flower Power stamp set and coordinating dies. She used Soft Finish Cardstock in various colors to create her card as well as Els van de Burgt’s Stitched Squares and Entwined Ovals. To decorate the flowers she went with ModaScrap Leafy Branch 5 and Dandelion Fluff. The A Way with Words – Hello sentiment in the centre of the oval sparkles with Sea Glass Silk Microfine Glitter. To finish off her card Frances added Prills from the Secret Garden set to the centre of the flowers.

Selma Stevenson created this pretty pink card using the Krista Schneider Spring Blooms stamp set with coordinating dies. For the embossed background Selma used the Dancing Leaves Embossing Folder to which she has added a border from the Chains 1 die set from Els van de Burgt Studio. Behind the large flower Selma added the ModaScrap Dandelion Fluff. Selma also added a circle from the Dotted Scallop Circles and Small Butterfly, both from Els van de Burgt Studio, and to finish off her card a sentiment from the General Sentiments Clear Stamp set from Joset Designs, layered onto a fishtail banner from the ModaScrap Stitched Fishtail Banners.

Next up, a beautiful card from Elena Anderson who used the Krista Schneider Flower Power stamp set with coordinating dies. For her card she used White, Time for Teal, and Soft Sky Soft Finish Cardstock. For the leaves under the flower Elena used the leaves from the Poinsettia die set and then layered the flower to her card using the Fitted Squares and Dotted Scallop Squares, all from Els van de Burgt Studio. To finish off her card Elena added a sentiment from the Dream Sentiments clear stamp set and Pink/Silver Glitter Dots Peel-Off Stickers.

Tina Guigui Dornbaum created a beautiful monochromatic pink card using the Krista Schneider Flower Power stamp set. Tina also used the Dotted Scallop Rectangles and the Fitted Rectangles from Els van de Burgt Studio to make the frame layer. For the sentiment Tina used the Dreams Sentiment clear stamp set from Joset Designs.

For our final card today, Anita Kejriwal used the Krista Schneider Flower Power stamp set with coordinating dies. Anita also used the ModaScrap Leafy Branch 2 and Leafy Branch 3, the Fitted Fishtails die set from Els van de Burgt Studio and Dream Sentiments from Joset Designs.

I just googled spring flowers and they said that Peonies are on the list. Those would be my favorite though they don’t blow here in the spring (I live north of Calgary, Alberta) But I also love pansies and irises which do bloom early here. This is such a neat contest.

Favorite spring time flower, that’s easy, I Love the crocus!!!! They are so sweet. When I see a little spike of green coming thru the dirt, I know that there really is hope, beautiful weather is on its way!!! 🙂
I feel so bad for these little flowers because they get tricked into thinking it’s spring, then a snow shower will come and kill them ????
I think the yellow ones are my favorite, but I do Love them ALL!

    Thank you
    Doris

So many of us love the daffodil. It is my favorite flower of spring also. When my youngest baby was a newborn, I timed her feedings with daffodil bulbs: I would plant 3 bulbs, nurse her for 10 minutes, and plant 3 more while she napped next to me in the warm autumn sun. My September baby is all grown up now, but every year I have that sweet reminder of when she was so tiny.

I live in Alaska, so our “spring” flowers come out a little later than most of the lower 48 states. I am very fond of the wild flowers that pop up where ever and when ever they want to. No particular kind, just all of them. As I have allergies to most fragrances, I enjoy the beautiful, bright colors!

I have two favourite springtime flowers – daffodils and snowdrops. I think when I see a big batch of daffodils on the common ground it makes me happy that winter is nearly finished and spring is just around the corner. Although both flowers have been out for weeks and we had a heavy snowfall today – 21.3.17 – but then I am in Scotland where we can have four seasons in one day!!

There’s not a Spring flower that I don’t love! Violets, lilacs, trillium, lilies, they all make me smile and I love being able to include flowers that I make on all my cards and 3D items. Thanks for making that possible for us.

Daffodils. Daffodils have long been one of the first flowers of spring. They have been adopted by the Cancer society as a representative of the struggle to find a cure. They are sold in bunches in the spring here by our young women and we crown a Daffodil Princess. Yellow is such a bright flower, like the sun
. They are a sign of spring, beauty, rebirth and healing. Daffodils are definitely the best spring flower.

Favourite spring flower has to be the smow-drop … Fragile little beauty that it is, braving the cold eartth, pushing up and through seeking the day-light. It is always a sign that life springs eternal and a new ywar is beginning.

My favorite spring flower is “lily of the valley” It reminds me of my mother , who has passed. They were in her yard, everywhere.
In the years, every time I have moved I take a clump with me. My children also have offsprings .
And can’t pass up any “scent” of lotion, perfume, etc.
    Thinking of you, mom.

I am highly allergic to flowers, but I do have some bloomers in my yard as I do love looking at them. I get to closely enjoy flowers through my paper crafting and I love many. I’m currently learning to make flowers using foamiran and my flower dies as well as experimenting with many different papers and cardstocks. So much fun….I’m sort of obsessed with it right now. LOL

I guess I most love hibiscus and hydrangeas….hard to pick which one more.
