Hello there everyone, it´s Sanna here today with a scrapbook layout tutorial and a pair of cards. For this month´s tutorial I´ve again recorded a start-to-finish video for you to watch. But first, let me show you the layout. Valentine´s Day being just around the corner, I wanted to create something love theme related, so I made a scrapbook page about my younger son and a set of love themed clean and simple cards with some of the newly-released dies as well as some old favorites.
Blue Hour
January 14, 2018Hello there everyone, it’s Sanna here with a Guest Designer project. But first, I´d like to congratulate everyone on the design team. It’s a great team to be part of! I feel very honored to be able to stay here and share crafty projects with you as a guest blogger. Today is my turn to share the first project, so let’s get started.
Manly-ish Mouse Valentine
January 9, 2018When it comes to making a Valentine for a man, it can be a bit of a challenge. How do you balance the girly hearts and doilies with a man’s less glittery sensibilities? For today’s project I have tried to do that. There are definitely feminine elements at work in this card, but the color palette and simple images help keep it from becoming too delicate. Here’s how I made the card:
Monochromatic Die Cut Glittered Background Card
December 21, 2017Hello there everyone, Sanna here today. Welcome to my last tutorial of the year, the last project I’ll be doing as a member of the Die Cut Design Team. It´s been a fabulous two years and I have enjoyed every minute of it. But before I tell you more about that, I´d like to share this card tutorial with you.
This card – well these cards, actually – were inspired by the recent background challenge. As you might recall, I made quite a few cards for that challenge. I love creating backgrounds for my projects with dies, stencils and stamps as well as various media. This card features one of the newest background dies and this is how I created it:
“Deer” Friends Christmas Card
December 18, 2017I am a sucker for critters on Christmas cards and reindeer might be my favorite! So naturally, I had to create a card featuring the Reindeer & Birds Clear Stamp set. This set is so cute that it made sense to me to combine it with a funny greeting to create a whimsical card perfect for the Christmas-lover with a sense of humor. Here’s how I made the card:

Striped Glitter Christmas Cards
November 23, 2017 Hello everybody, Sanna here again for the Die Cut Team. A little glitter for Christmas cards is always a good idea, in my opinion. Therefore, today´s card tutorial is all about glittery stripes.
Gingerbread Christmas Wreath Card
November 3, 2017Although I love the traditional deep reds, greens and golds of the holidays, on this gingerbread wreath card I instead used brighter pinks, greens and purples to create a fun, kid-friendly Christmas card. To me, the vibrant colors remind me of the candy pieces that typically adorn gingerbread houses and people and really captures the “Candy Land” feeling. Yum!
