Cardmaking Krista Schneider Soft Finish Cardstock

Candy Land Christmas

November 13, 2019

Karen here today from Craftily Yours! Christmas is just over a month away. It’s almost time to send out those amazing holiday cards! I still have a few more to go, so I got inspired to use the Candy Land Clear Stamps and Coordinating dies to create today’s card!

To create this card:

Start by stamping, die-cutting and coloring the two characters that are in the Candy Land Stamp Set. Mine are colored with Copic markers: E4, E41, E42, E43, G43, G46, Y23, Y26, R37 and C1.

Cut a 8-1/2″x11″ piece of 90 lb White Soft-Finish Cardstock in half to create the card base (vertical). Cut two coordinating pattern pieces at 4″ wide, adhere them together and cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″. Add a strip of green paper (3/8″) across the middle.

Die cut two squares using the Stitched Rounded Square Dies and the Fitted Rounded Square Dies. On the larger, stamp a sentiment from the Joyful Wishes Set. Adhere them together in an off-set way and then adhere to the card base. Trim off the excess and add Candy Land characters.

Adhere the card front to the card base and add some Metallic Gold Craft Drops and stars from the Planner Essentials 12 set.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Craftily yours,

Karen
