Hey Friends, it is EK here and I thought I’d share just a bit of holiday inking with you today using some A Way With Words holiday dies. Recently I introduced my eight-year-old crafter to Distress Inks, and realized that I have not been taking advantage of all the cool things you can do with them, especially when it comes to stenciling. Then I wondered how well the A Way With Words sentiment dies would hold up as stencils and I was off to the races.
Hey Friends! It’s EK here to share a bit of holiday fun. I don’t know about you, but I think these days people take the holidays a little too seriously and we all could inject some fun back into our holidays. I think we as adults forget sometimes what the magic of Christmas should be, and instead craft and create elegant and fancy holiday decor. Today I am trying to invent with my child’s mind and create a really fun and magic-filled project.
Hey Friends! It’s EK from ekgorman designs and I am sneaking in to share not one but two marshmallow cards featuring the new Marshmallow Snowmen stamp set. In our house, all winter long hot chocolate rules, according to both of my girls, and the only acceptable way to drink it is with giant marshmallows floating on the top. Needless to say, while this stamp set was not created with my daughters in mind, according to them, it was. So in tribute to them, here are two marshmallow cocoa cards for my two marshmallows girls.
Hey Friends. It’s EK, and I am sneaking in today to share a little card project that is hoping for some cooler weather and warmer drinks. It might be October, but here it is still hot, hot, hot, and I am so ready for sweaters and hot chocolate. And while there is not a break in the weather in the forecast, Krista’s new stamp collection perfectly evokes what I want it to be like outside.
Hello everyone! It’s EK here and I have a little non-traditional holiday card for you today. I thought it might be fun to make something unconventional since on Tuesday the Design Team played around with Classic Christmas ideas. For me, if you say “marshmallow” I think about summer and camping. However, I love the idea of roasted marshmallows becoming a sweet treat on a cold Christmas night! So here is a little kooky holiday card for all you marshmallow lovers.
Hi Friends! It’s EK and I am sneaking in with a tasty treat today. One of my favorite things about the holiday season is it seems the food and drink just get better. It seems only fitting that Joset’s new release has so many sweet treats to help celebrate the season! Today, I am using the new Hot Chocolate die to create a fun Christmas Card.
Hey Friends! It’s EK, and I’m sneaking in today to share a little mixed media canvas I created for the upcoming holiday season. Last year during the holiday season, I started putting up small holiday theme canvases throughout the house. It was a really fun way to decorate for Christmas instead of just putting up the tree. With the new release of Joset’s new holiday dies, I wanted to create some new mini canvases, and thought the new Santa’s Sleigh was perfect for this project.
Hey Friends! It’s EK here today sharing a little bit of paradise with you. As my weather outside heats up to uncomfortable levels, I just keep imaging myself somewhere tropical. To help push the fantasy a little further, I thought I would whip up a little card from paradise using the new Tropical Florals die set.
Hi Friends! It’s EK Gorman here just peeking in today to share with you a fun way to get the most out of the new Susan’s Garden Frame It/Stitched Rectangle dies. I just adore the idea of cards where the front looks like it might be one thing, but once you open it, you see another picture entirely. Surprise! The new Frame It dies make this technique so simple that I know you’ll want to join in the fun.
Hey Everyone! EK here today sharing a card using some new products released earlier this week from Susan Tierney-Cockburn. But before I go on, I have a small confession to make. My favorite flower of all time is baby’s breath. Now, I know what you are saying, that’s not really a flower, just a filler for other flowers. But I love baby’s breath. There is something about them that makes me think of living snow. I have been known fill vases with this fluffy white flower and display it as if they were prized roses. So I promise, after today I will use the new Baby’s Breath die set as a filler flower in all my paper flower bouquets, but today, just today, I am highlighting the flower for its beauty all on its own.
