May the Magic of Christmas Make You Feel Like a Kid Again !

December 23, 2018

What can I say? I love everything about Christmas – all the lights, the smells, the snow, the cold, hot chocolate, rosy cheeks, childhood memories and being with all the ones I love! I feel like a kid every time I hear a Christmas song and I cry watching all the happy-ending Christmas movies on TV. I hope that the magic of the holidays will fill your heart and that you’ll remember to enjoy every minute of the time spent creating the most wonderful memories with your loved ones.

The Three Roses of My Life

This is the time of the year when we count our blessings, and I have a lot to be thankful for. One of them is being a grand-mother of 3 amazingly beautiful, smart and strong grand-daughters. Their smiles have the power to make everything right in this world and it reminds me that the precious things in life….aren’t things!!!

One Last Firework Before The Winter

October 28, 2018

In Quebec, the beautiful colors of autumn have past leaving behind brown and grey shades. We get inside to prepare some warm meal in the slow cooker with the many wonderful vegetables ready to be harvest and our home smells like happiness. I found a quote from an anonymous writer that capture my present state of mind: ” The trees are about to show us how lovely it is to let things go…” It inspired this card and I hope you’ll like it.

Wishing You Well!

July 22, 2018

Hello crafters! I’m Diane Prince and this is my first time as a Guest Designer for Elizabeth Craft Designs. I got inspired to do the following card by the wonderful surroundings of the little cottage we rented this summer. The pathways through the woods around the cottage have been landscaped by the religious community that owns the land. They have set up small areas with flowers, benches, bird houses, etc., where you can pray, meditate or simply relax. While walking my dog I came across one of those areas where there is a lovely wishing well filled with flowers and I knew right away that I needed to capture that scene in a card with some of the wonderful dies from Susan’s Garden. Here’s how I got to “Wishing You Well” –
