Cardmaking Planner Essentials

A Colourful Day!

February 27, 2020

Hello –– Samantha here! When the recent planner release came out I knew I had to have this die! Lightbulbs…and HEARTS! The possibilities are endless and there are so many options for these light bulbs. Today, I’m showing you how I made this bright colourful birthday card.

Card Instructions:

Step 1: Using a blending tool, blend red ink onto one half of white cardstock.

Step 2: Die cut the light bulb die.

Step 3: Repeat steps 1 and 2 changing the ink colours –– yellow, orange, green and blue ink.

Step 4: Use similar shades of cardstock to the ink colours, die cut the light bulb base die.

Step 5: Match up the light bulbs die cut pieces and adhere them together.

Step 6: Adhere the light bulbs to the card front (measurements: 10.5cm x 14.5cm). Stamp the sentiment in black ink.

Step 7: Embellish the card with enamel dots and a twine bow. Adhere card front to an A6 cardbase.

It’s a very colourful card that will brighten anyone’s day! Check out these two examples of different ways I used this same light bulb die!

Happy Crafting!

Samantha
