Violetta Layout

August 14, 2018

Hello everyone!! It’s Luciana here again to share with you a scrapbook layout project. I will never be good at growing real plants and flowers, that is one of the reasons for my passion for paper flowers. But this year I was able to grow a pansy from a seed to a flowering plant. I had to celebrete the event with a scrapbook layout!

Step 1. Die cut 10 set of Garden Notes – Pansy 2 ( all the pieces except the stem) from White Soft Finish Cardstock.

Color all parts of the flower using your prefered coloring media, then shape and assemble flowers using Susan’s Garden All Metal Tool set. Add more details to more realistic aspect.

Step 2. Create a tag from the Love, Life Tag set, die cutting the longest tag.
I added journaling to the tag using a typewriter and added the first flower that bloomed, which I had dried.

Step 3. Use a sheet of 12×12 patterned paper from the Christmas Holidays Patterned Paper Pack as base of my layout. Overlap and layer several vintage pages of paper, old book pages, drawing sheets, notebook pages, wrapping paper and so on. On the top  adhere two photos of my little garden. Tie a piece of white string around all the set.

Step 4. Die cut the word “violetta” from a piece of glittered foam, using the Blackboard Alphabet set. (Note: you could also die cut the letters using cardstock that has Clear Double Sided Adhesive on the front and cover with Silk Microfine Glitter.)

Step 5. Adhere the pansies onto the layout so that you have a bunch of 7 pansies at the top right side of the layout and the remaining three pansies at the left side of the layered papers. Refer to photo below for placement.

I hope you get inspired to create your own Layout with the Susan’s Garden paper flowers. Thank you for stopping by.

Very pretty page! I would like to see more scrapbook pages using ECD dies and products. I love the cards too, but I’m a scrapbooker at heart. Thanks for Sharing!

The card is beautiful but it is too busy for me. My eyes don’t know where to settle. Reiterate I said for ME. I realize this is the style of today.
