Final 2019 #DecemberDBD

December 30, 2019

Karen here today from Craftily Yours! Did you all play along with #DecemberDBD in the ECD Planner Group on Facebook? It was so much fun and so inspirational. I am doing pages for each day in December and today, I’m showing you the final ones! (I did the Dec 31 page earlier this month!)

Recipe for Page: G45 and TH paper, Planner Essentials 7, December Moments Stamps, Planner Essentials 17 (Filmstrip Numbers), Stitched Indented Squares, Fitted Rounded Squares, and the Reinforcement Variety Pack.

I created a tag and a pocket (by cutting off the bottom of a second (green) Planner Essentials 7 die. The black polkadot accent is waste from another time I’d cut out some reinforcements. Here’s a close-up:

Next-up is the backside (or what will be day 27):

The same dies were used, and I added some washi tape. I haven’t added the day 27 number yet because I’m not sure what I’ll do yet with the rest of the page. (That’s part of the fun in this kind of scrapbooking…one can always come back to it later!) Next up is day 28.

Eek, I love this page with the “hidden” tags (from Planner Essentials 2). For the base, I used Planner Essentials 3 and also used the smaller tag and the “friends” die from Planner Essentials 7 (since I know I’m spending this day with my BFF!). Later, I’ll add pictures and/or journaling on the front, on the tags and on the circle cut with the Fitted and Dashing Circles. Finally, I added the “HAPPY” sentiment from the Moods stamps and a date and small strip of paper. Here is a close-up of the tags that I added some interest with a stamp from Patterns 1 stamps:

The 29th and 30th are on the backside, of course, and are again kept pretty simple. Again here I used waste from the Reinforcement Variety Pack cut outs to add arrow accents. I think that is so fun.

In 2020, I hope to do at least one page per week. Doing them every day has been SO much fun! I wish you all a VERY Happy New Year! Thank you ever so much for stopping by!

Craftily yours, Karen
