Mother’s Day Set

April 28, 2016

Hello everyone, it’s Sanna here today sharing a Mother´s Day card and present box set with you. For this set I used the Through the Lens – Metal paper series papers with the Fitted Circles, the Stitched Rectangles and  the Bunch of Flowers 4 die cut dies. This is how I created both the card and the packaging.

Step 1: Take a piece of watercolor paper and apply Brusho Chrystal Colour onto it, mist with water spray and let dry.

Step 2: Use the Bunch of Flowers 4 die cut die set to cut flowers from the previously created watercolor paper. Sanna Lippert

Now cut a hole into the upper middle of the paper using the Fitted Circles die cut die.  Sanna Lippert

Step 4: Cut a piece of brown Through the Lens – Metal paper using the Banners die cut die set. Cut a piece of twine and draw a circle onto a white card base for placement guide.Sanna Lippert Sanna Lippert

Step 5: Cut a small circle and use a marker to color it red. Then adhere into the middle of the previously cut banner piece. Adhere the banner onto the twine and then adhere the paper over the banner using 3D foam pads.   Sanna Lippert

Step 6: Adhere the flowers around the circle overlappingly and add silver puffy stars here and there for additional decoration.  Sanna Lippert

Step 7: Outline the card with a white gel pen and attach a bow for decoration. Cut a Hello sentiment and color it with a marker or use a colored cardstock, adhere underneath the bow. The card is finished.

Step 8: Use a milk carton cutting template and cut from a light blue cardstock, then assembly the carton, outline the edges with a white gel pen. Cut rectangles with the Stitched Rectangles die cut set and adhere onto the sides of the carton. Use leftover Brusho flowers and mini hearts from the Poppy the Owl set and adhere into the middle of each rectangle piece for interest. Take a piece of hemp cord and adhere two flower pieces together, attach a heart in the middle and hand on top of the carton with a clothes pin. Fill with a present of your choice. This is how the finished set looks like:
