Hi, it’s Sandy Diller here today to share a card that was inspired by one of my teammates at A Vintage Journey, Anne Redfern.   She talked about some of her childhood memories – among them, ice skating. It made me think of building a snowman and how we had some wonderful warm mittens to wear when it was cold outside.  I hope you will enjoy my memories of a cold winter day.

Mittens and Hats for Year-Round Fun

I’ve put away my winter coat and boots, but not my Winter Hat and Winter Mittens die sets! Looking at shapes in new ways, thinking outside of the box, is lots of fun and I hope you’ll join me. They’re not just mittens, they’re birds and people and who knows what else. They’re not just hats, they’re cats and dogs and any number of other things.

All you need to do is die cut the mittens and hats from white cardstock (the solid shapes, not the overlays), turn them upside down and sideways and see what you see! Get the kids in on the act, too. They’ll discover all sorts of things that adults might never envision.

Hello everyone, Sanna here again today. How many Christmas/Seasonal cards do you send every year? I need quite a big pile for friends and family each year and it has become a tradition to make sure they are all handmade and every single one is different. Quite a challenge, right? Here is a start – a set of four; now I only need 40-something more!
