Hi there,
It’s Tanja here and today I would like to show you how to create this vibrant and fun Cactus Card.
Step 1: Stamping and Die Cutting
- stamp the iguana and a cactus from the Cacti stamp set with alcohol-marker-friendly black ink and cut them out with their matching dies
- die cut a Stitched Indented Rectangle from white cardstock
Step 2: Ink Blending
- add color to the background using Distress Oxide Ink (Squeezed Lemonade, Mowed Lawn) and a Blending Brush
- add some water droplets for ore texture
Step 3: Stamping the Sentiment
- stamp the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black
Step 4: Coloring
- color the images with Alcohol Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils
Step 5: Assembly and Finishing Touches
- adhere the panel to a piece of patterned paper from the Color of Puppies Boy 6×6 paper pad
- use clear double-sided adhesive
- add Nuvo Crystal Drops (Ripened Pumpkin, Apple Green, Olive Branch) to the flowers and into the background
