Die Cut Design Team Designer Challenge – June

June 6, 2017

Hi everyone,

It’s the Die Cut Design Team’s turn to share their cards for this month’s Die Cut Design Team Designer Challenge.

Our Challenge this month is ….. Anything but a Card – for our challenge this month let’s create a project that is anything but a card. Think along the lines of a home décor item; journaling; tags etc.

For our Challenge today we are giving away ….. two sizes of the Clear Double Sided Adhesive which will include: a pack of the 5” x 12” sheets and a 10 mm roll of tape, in addition we will also give away a pack of the new ModaScrap 12” x 12” Viaggi Vintage Patterned Paper Pack to 3 winners.

To enter, simply leave a comment on this blog post below and answer this question: Besides the classic card, what are some project ideas you like to play around with?

We will select 3 lucky winners in a random drawing.

The winners will be announced on Friday, June 9, here on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog.

Now let’s take a look at the wonderful creations our talented Design Team have created for the Challenge this month. For more information about the projects, click on the designer’s name under each project to be taken to the designer’s blog post that will open up in a new window.

Here is how you can make this card.  Join me!

I cut some of the pages and fold them into envelopes. I cut other pages into small pieces for layering onto card fronts and gift tags! If the paper is heavy enough, I’ll even die cut some sentiments.

When I’m done, I give some of the cards and envelope to the friends who donated the calendars! I get to have the fun of repurposing would have otherwise gone into the recycling bin, they get to enjoy the calendar again in its second incarnation.
