Quick and Simple Wedding Card

June 24, 2018

Hi Everyone!

It’s time for June’s Sunday Stamping with Hedgehog Hollow.  It’s amazing to think I have been doing Sunday Stamping for over a year now (thanks, TimeHop!).  I love playing with my Elizabeth Craft Designs goodies each month and having a blog post scheduled always gives me a push to challenge myself to come up with something new.

I hope you all having a wonderful Sunday. We are definitely seeing some signs of summer in Ohio although we seemed to have skipped spring. With summer comes wedding season! We don’t have any this year, but we do have our wedding anniversary coming on Tuesday so I’m certainly feeling in the mood!  Today I have a really quick and easy wedding card for you, and I love the touch of elegance it has, plus you can customize the base depending on the color theme of the wedding….

I just love the rich purple in this card. A good friend of ours used this color in their wedding and I loved the silver and white accents they chose, so I decided to use this combination.  Of course Sunday Stamping would not be complete without a full video tutorial…

I hope you are now feeling inspired to create your own wedding cards for congratulations or  as invitations or even save-the-date cards. The delicate Flower Lace Frame adds an elegant touch and I can’t get enough of the vellum. The A Way With Words – Wedding Sentiment Clear Stamp set is a must-have for your stash. You may also have noticed that I bucked the trend with a different orientation of the die cut. It’s just great to have a die that offers that versatility depending on the size of sentiment you want to use. Don’t forget the Rich Purple Soft Finish Cardstock. (I love the colors this cardstock comes in so much!)

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed the tutorial. I’d love to know what color scheme you had at your wedding. We had cream and rose gold, and Mr. HH wore full formal-wear including a top hat and tails and the cane!

Happy Stamping!
