Hi there, it’s Tanja here and I would like to show you the vibrant flower card I created for today’s tutorial.
Step 1 – Stamp the Floral Background with VersaMark onto a piece of watercolor paper and heat-emboss it with white embossing powder.
Step 2 – Color the image with Ecoline Brush Pens and a damp watercolor brush.
Step 3 – Using the background piece created above die cut a tag shape using the Tags & More 5 die set, trim the cardstock so it is 4.75 inches long. Add black splatter to this tag.
- Die cut a second tag from purple cardstock and layer it slightly offset behind the flower tag.
- Thread mint and natural twine through the holes of the tags, tying them together at the top.
Step 4 – Use a wood grain embossing folder to emboss only the front half of a gray side-fold card base. (Open the card when running it through the machine and make sure that the grain is oriented so it is vertical.)
Step 5 – Create the first part of the sentiment by cutting the “hello” from the Words 2 – Thinking of You Die Set three times from white cardstock. Adhere the three layers to add dimension.
- Stamp the second part of the sentiment with the word “sunshine” from the Spring Sentiments Clear Stamp Set with VersaMark ink on a strip of black cardstock. Heat-emboss with white embossing powder.
Step 6 – Layer and adhere the elements as shown.
Have a colorful day.
