Card with Patchwork Element

April 23, 2018

Hi, everybody! It’s  Ekaterina Oleynik here with you today. I  am showing you an interesting use of a background stamp.

Step 1 – Stamp the Circles Background onto four different sheets of patterned paper and one sheet of plain cardstock using black ink.

Step 2 – Die cut a square using the Dashing Squares die set from the cardstock piece stamped in step 1.

Step 3 – Cut out various circles from the four patterned paper panels and adhere then on top of the same circles on the cardstock panel.

Step 4 – Cut a strip of vellum large enough to wrap around the card panel and high enough to fit the chosen sentiment. Wrap vellum panel around the centre of card adhering vellum to back of cardstock.

Step 5 – Die cut the sentiments “Amazing” from the Words 2 – Thinking of You die set and “birthday” from the A Way With Words – Happy Birthday 2 die set. Adhere this to the centre of the vellum piece.

Step 6 – Adhere square panel to a top folding card.

Everything is ready! Thanks for for visiting the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog today.
