Hello Crafty Friends!
Can you believe it is February already? Time is flying in 2018! Although time is flying by, I have made sure to take the time to unwind and happily craft away. It feels great to create as I forget about the snow on the ground and the shorter days. Coming home when it is dark is not a problem when I think of the bright light on my craft table!
This week I created a card using a stamp from Suzanne Cannon’s Love & Hearts Collection. What a sweet quote! Would you like to make a similar card? Well, grab a cup of warm tea or coffee and enjoy the instructions.
Instructions:
Step 1 – Create a top fold 5.25” by 5.25” card using black card stock.
Step 2 – Cut a piece of ivory card stock to 5 x 5. Optional: dry emboss and edge using gold marker. Mount to card front.
Step 3 – Die cut four pieces of red card stock using the smallest corner from the Moda Scrap Romantic Corner die set. Mount to card front in corners as shown.
Step 4 – Die cut gold card stock using Labels 1 die. Use double sided foam tape to mount to card front.
Step 5 – Use pink archival ink to stamp heart onto ivory card stock. Use black archival ink to stamp quote over heart. Die cut using Dotted Scallop Ovals die. Mount to card front.
Step 6 – Create double bow from 1” ivory ribbon. Mount to card front using liquid adhesive. Optional: mount button or other embellishment to middle of bow using liquid adhesive.
Step 7 – Decorate inside of card as desired.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a happy, crafty day!
Big Hugs,
