Hi, everybody! It’s Ekaterina Oleynik with you today. Very soon the most romantic holiday in the year will arrive – St. Valentine’s Day. On this day, guys and girls in love send each other special cards: Valentines. Today I want to show how to make such original card on which creation it is necessary to spend not enough time.
Step 1 – Lightly draw a circle with pencil onto White Soft Finish Cardstock. Die cut Flowers Lace Frame, two curved sections toward the lower right, one curved section toward the upper left as shown in the photo below. Erase the pencil marks. Then die cut the Stitched Rectangle die around the lace frame to use as the background for the card front.
Step 2 – Use Distress inks applied with a blending tool to tint the rectangle.
Step 3 – Use Black Memento ink and ‘happy Valentine’s day’ stamp from the Love Sentiments clear stamp set to add the sentiment. Arrange and adhere two clusters of sequins in differing sizes as shown.
Step 4 – Adhere the panel to a White Soft Finish Cardstock top-fold card base. The card is ready.
