Elizabeth Craft Designs Designer Challenge – February 2018

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time again! Our Design Team are back this month with lots of inspiration for this month’s challenge … are you ready!!!!!

With Easter being about 6 weeks away being this year at the end of March/beginning of April. If you didn’t know Good Friday falls on the 30th March and Easter Sunday on the 1st April, so it  is fairly early this year. So for our challenge this month we are going with an Easter theme.

For our Challenge today we are giving away a $20 Gift Card to use on the Elizabeth Craft Designs website to 3 winners.

Now let’s take a look at the wonderful creations our talented Design Team have created for the Challenge this month. For more information about the cards, click on the designer’s name under each card to be taken to the designer’s blog post.

To start us off today we have Samantha Klaebe who have created a fun Easter card featuring an adorable bunny … he looks surprised to be here! To create her card Samantha has used the Bunny; Spring Basket; Dashing Rectangles; Scissor Spring Mechanism die sets along with the Spring Sentiments Clear Stamp set. White Soft Finish Cardstock was also used on this card.

Frances Byrne has created a colorful Shaker Card with Triangle Gift Box for our challenge. To create her project Frances has used Bunny; Dashing Rectangles; Dashing Squares; Adventure Edges and Triangle Box die sets along with the Color My Easter Eggs Clear Stamp set with coordinating dies and Spring Sentiments Clear Stamp set. White Soft Finish Cardstock was also used to create this project.

Tania Kabel has created a simply adorable card for our Easter challenge. To create her card Tanja has used the Garden Party Clear Stamp set with coordinating dies; Spring Sentiment Clear Stamp set and ModaScrap Thinking about Polinesia 12 x 12 Patterned Paper Pack.

Karen Nofziger has created this sweet Easter card above. For her card Karen used the Color My Easter Eggs Clear Stamp set with coordinating dies; Patchwork Clear Stamp set with coordinating dies; Spring Sentiments Clear Stamp set as well as Dashing Circles; Fitted Circles and Adventure Edges dies. ModaScrap Butterfly Dreams 6 x 6 Patterned Paper Pack was also used on this card.

Selma Stevenson is next with her adorable bunny/floral card. To create her card Selma has used Bunny; Spring Basket; Pansy; Hydrangea; Maidenhair Fern; Dashing Rectangles die sets along with Spring Sentiments Clear Stamp set; Lots of Dots Embossing Folder. White Soft Finish Cardstock; Bloomy Day Prills and ModaScrap Happy Travel and Thinking About Rio De Janeiro Patterned Paper Packs were also used on this card.

Elena Anderson is next with her fun Easter card with a shimmery background which was created using Blue Iridescent Shimmer Sheetz. To create her card Elena has used Entwined Egg; Spring Basket; Stitched Ovals and Dotted Scallop Circles die sets along with Color My Easter Eggs Clear Stamp Set with coordinating dies. Soft Finish Cardstock in White; Pewter and Dusky Lavender were also used on this card.

Sara Torzullo created a clean and simple Easter card for us today. Sara used Color My Easter Eggs Clear Stamp set with coordinating dies and the Words 3 – Happy Holidays Clear Stamp set.

Laura Gilhuly has created this stunning Easter Layout for us today. For her layout Laura has used the Entwined Egg; Bunny; Spring Basket (eggs); Word Set 3 – Happy Holidays; Word Set 4 – Remember; Small Flower Set; Large Flower Set die sets. White Soft Finish Cardstock and ModaScrap Wood Effect Patterned Paper Pack were also used on this layout.

EK Gorman shares her Easter card with us next. To create her card she used the Entwined Egg; Large Flower Set and Words 3 – Happy Holidays die sets along with Color My Easter Eggs Clear Stamp set with coordinating die set and Garden Party Clear Stamp set with coordinating die set. Soft Finish Cardstock in White and Peach and the ModaScrap Wood Effects Patterned Paper Pack were also used on this card.

Kelly Booth has been having fun creating Easter cards and has two to share with us today.To create her first card Kelly has used Bunny; Spring Basket; Word Set 3 – Happy Holidays; Stitched Ovals; Dotted Scallop Ovals and Garden Notes – Lily 2. White Soft Finish Cardstock; ModaScrap Thinking About Grand Canyon Patterned Paper Pack and Red/Rust Pollen were also used on this card.

For her second card Kelly Booth has again used the Spring Basket & Word Set 3 – Happy Holidays die sets along with the Garden Notes – Hydrangea; Dashing Rectangles; Dotted Scalloped Rectangles die sets. White Soft Finish Cardstock; ModaScrap Fly and Scrap Paper Patterned Pack and Prills were also used on this card.

Sandy Diller had such fun with our Easter stamps & dies that she created two cards for our challenge. For her first card above Sandy has used the Bunny; Spring Basket; Adventure Edges; Dotted Scallop Ovals die sets along with Color My Easter Eggs Clear Stamp set with coordinating dies and the Spring Sentiments Clear Stamp set. Soft Finish Cardstock was also used on this card.

For her second card today, Sandy has used Bunny; Spring Basket; Adventure Edges and Word Set 3 – Happy Holidays die sets.  Soft Finish Cardstock was also used on this card.

Christine Pooler has created an adorable pop-up card for our challenge today. For the front of her card Christine has used the Bunny; Entwined Egg; Garden Notes – Tulip; Garden Notes – Leafy Berry Branch dies and Earth & Sky Stencil. White Soft Finish Cardstock and ModaScrap Fly & Scrap Patterned Paper Pack were also used on this card.

When you open Christine Pooler‘s  card it reveals the pop-up basket full of Easter Eggs. For the inside of the card Christine used the General Pop Ups; Spring Basket; Words Set 3 – Happy Holidays die sets as well as the Earth & Sky Stencil.

Selma Stevenson shares another card she made for our challenge. Marilyn Scheller has a fun Easter Shaker card to share with us today. For her card Marilyn has used the Entwined Egg and Words Set 3 – Happy Holidays die sets. White Soft Finish Cardstock was also used on this card.

Suzanne Cannon has created an elegant Easter card for our challenge. Suzanne has used A Way With Words – Flourished Frame; A Way With Words – Blessings Prayers and A Way With Words – Butterfly Flourish die sets. White Soft Finish Cardstock was also used on this card.

Emilia van den Heuvel has created this beautiful pastel shaker card for our challenge. To create her card Emilia has used Entwined Egg; Spring Basket; Words 3 – Happy Holidays and Dashing Rectangles die set. Soft Finish Cardstock in White; Vintage Sampler & Timeless Sampler Packs were also used on this card.

How sweet is this bunny peeking out to say hello in the basket created by Siqi Zhou. To create her card Siqi used the Bunny and Spring Basket die sets along with the Spring Sentiments Clear Stamp set. Soft Finish Cardstock in White; Perfect Pink; Rust and Rich Black were also used on this card.

Katelyn Grosart shares her Easter card with us today which features a bunny peeking out from some Easter Eggs. To create her card Katelyn has used the Bunny; Spring Basket; Entwined Egg; Small Flower Set and Dashing Rectangles die sets along with Color My Easter Eggs Clear Stamp set with coordinating dies and Spring Sentiments Clear Stamp set. White Soft Finish Cardstock was also used to create this card.

Luciana Telesca has created two cards to share with us today. For her first card Luciana has used Bunny; Spring Basket; Small Flower Set and Word Set 3 – Happy Holidays die sets. White Soft Finish Cardstock and ModaScrap Wood Effect Patterned Paper Pack were also used on this card.

For her second card Luciana Telesca has used Garden Notes – Dogwood 2; Garden Notes – Primrose 1 and Word Set 3 – Happy Holidays die sets along with the tiny eggs from the Spring Sentiments Clear Stamp set. Soft Finish Cardstock in White and the Victorian Sampler Pack were also used on this card.

Our final card for today has been created by Ekaterina Oleynik. Ekaterina has used the Spring Sentiments Clear Stamp set; Patchwork Clear Stamp set (leaf) and the label from the Flower Lace Frame. Soft Finish Cardstock in White and Perfect Purple were also used on this card.

    I love the spring basket set which several designers used. All the cards are beautiful. I do card classes for low income seniors for free so I can use the basket set for an Easter class. I live in San Jose, CA

    I would use the Blessings from a way with words and I would use the Lily’s from Susan’s Garden and I would use the bunny and the basket..

    These are fabulous!!!! The bunnies are adorable. Even though I tend to lean toward the theme of Jesus is Risen, these are totally cute and I can think of many uses for them.

    Oh Wow! Such a wonderful choice. I would like to use the Entwined Egg Die , the small Flower Die and Large Flower Die and the Trio of Leaves Die Sets and possibly some Prills. Also the Spring Sentiments. I live in Queensland Australia and am gradually increasing my Elizabeth Craft dies and stamps.

    There are so many great choices this year it is hard to pick just one. I usually make about 35 cards on a non Christmas list so I have to pick something that will come out fast. I plan on using the bunny die cut in some form just not sure in what way. Love his little face and cute butt ha ha.
