Hello there everyone,
It´s Sanna here today with a tutorial for the Die Cut Design Team. My passion for paper crafting started with scrapbooking, then I discovered other areas of paper crafting and got distracted. Well, I actually broadened my spectrum. I wanted to go back to creating a layout for a change, so today´s project combines die cutting and scrapbooking.
Hi Friends! Piyanki here today welcoming spring with my handmade bouquet. I am from India. Here, the city of Srinagar hosts the World’s Largest Tulip Garden in Asia. Tourists from all across the globe flock to this garden in the month of April. It is open for 21 days. I found a photo on Google to show you. If you ever visit India at that time of year it is a must-see!
Dear Friends,
Shalini Pahwa here. A birthday is one of the most important and eagerly awaited days of the year for all of us. Even in this age of advanced technology with a plethora of options for communicating and sending gifts, I still feel that a bouquet of flowers, delivered with a personal message, is the best way to deliver birthday wishes. But if there is a distance between you and your loved one, a card with a bouquet of beautiful handmade paper flowers is a wonderful way to express your emotions – and it is sure to become a cherished gift.
Hello friends,
Welcome to the ECD blog. I am Anita here today for the Colouring Design Team. Birthdays can be so much fun and creating cards for this occasion is a beautiful way to show affection for the birthday person. I love making sweet birthday cards and Elizabeth Craft Designs has some amazing stamps and dies to make your birthday projects look awesome.
For my card I tried a new technique for creating a gingham effect background with alcohol inks. It’s easy to do because the lines don’t have to be perfect. It provides a colourful base to the stamped images and dies.
Smiles Required – Mixed Media Card
by Judi Kauffman
When it comes to mixed media, everything is fair game. Among the tools and supplies I pulled together for today’s card are the ModaScrap Poppies die set, A Way With Words ‘Play’ die, A Way With Stencils ‘Dotty’, Prills in two of my favorite colors, half of a mailing label that originally said ‘SIGNATURE REQUIRED’, a library card from the days before computers, a small metal folder tab, an office supply store label maker, strips of Kraft brown cardstock that were next to the paper trimmer, and a scrap of sequin waste encrusted with paint.
The project began with the strips of cardstock and the library card. Though you may not have precisely the same bits and pieces, as long as you keep in mind the letter ‘H’ or a ladder you’ll be able to make your own version!
I’m going to include what I call ‘Design Strategies’ along with the instructions. This is the ‘why’ part of design; the instructions are the ‘how’ part. Beginners: I hope this is especially useful to you!
(Experienced cardmakers – scroll through the photos and head straight to the supply list.)
Hello! I’m excited to show you this dramatic and beautiful card, easy to do by just combining some floral stamps and a bold die. By making it monochromatic, the card is easy to replicate using any of your favorite colors. It’s also a fun and relaxing card to make as multiples since there is coloring involved. My favorite color palette changes daily and as you can see, I felt like reds with a splash of black for my choice the day this one took shape. Read on for more information on how I made this beauty.

Hi friends, it’s Sandy Diller here today. Have you ever had an idea that you just couldn’t let go of until you’ve made it? Well, that’s my project today. I issued a challenge to myself to make an Easter Bunny from Elizabeth Craft Designs dies in my collection that does not include a bunny. I’ve used lots of different shapes – hope you enjoy my “self-challenge.” If you decide to try it, I’d love to hear from you.
