It’s Not Too Late

January 2, 2017

Hi Everyone!  It’s Tina today for Susan’s Garden Club.  I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday! Although Christmas is over I know some people are still having get togethers because either your family and friends were away or have lots of places to be. I have a quick and easy card for some last minute Christmas cards.

  1. Cut plain cardstock 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ for base of card. Fold in half. Finished card measures 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ folded.
  2. Cut Silver Metallic Shimmer Sheetz  4″ x 5 1/4″. Place in embossing folder with Christmas or Holiday theme and pass through embossing machine. Adhere to card center front.
  3. Stamp sentiment on plain cardstock with embossing ink, sprinkle embossing powder and heat with tool.
  4. Die cut Small Poinsettia from red cardstock. Assemble poinsettia.  Here is a wonderful video by Susan to help you with the assembly.  For a finishing touch, glue Prills to the center of Poinsettia.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you enjoyed this quick and easy last minute Holiday card.  This concept can also be done on all-occasion cards. For example, on a birthday card switch to an embossing folder with a pattern such as balloons or presents and use different Susan’s Garden notes flower dies (carnation, rose, tulip, etc.).
