Hi there, it´s Sanna here today, sharing a set of cards created with the new Lollypop die set.
Again these card ideas started from my previous project, the Lollypop cards. I had a negative piece of white die cut paper on my table, cut with the Lollypop die. I looked at it and I suddenly saw lemons! This is how these cards came together:
Step 1: I used the Lollypop die cut leftover piece and placed a Fitted Circle die (the smallest one of them) on top of the paper and ran it thru the die cutting machine. As a result I had a set of lemons.
Step 2: Spray yellow and green spray ink onto the pieces. This way you have lemons and limes.
Step 3: Cut circles from Through the Lens – Wood paper with the smallest Fitted Circles die. Adhere these pieces together to create lemons and limes.
Step 4: Finish the card by cutting a piece of Through the Lens – Wood paper as a card background. Align the lemon and lime pieces overlappingly on one side of the card. Use an old typewriter to type a sentiment. Outline with black pen and add black spray ink splatters for additional detail.
Step 5: Now for the second card. The Lollypop die set is really very versatile. You can use the Lollypop to create balloons too! I used an old canvas paper leftover piece and cut balloons with the Lollypop die.
Step 6: Use a Through the Lens – Metal patterned paper as a card background. Attach ivory hemp cord to the balloons and adhere the balloons with 3D foam squares onto the card. Use an old typewrite to create a suitable sentiment. Outline with a black and a white pen and add white ink splatters for additional interest. Here are the finished cards:
I love using the dies in various ways and finding new way of using them in my card making projects. Imagine all the fun ways you can use a particular die set!!!
Happy crafting,
Sanna
