Elizabeth Craft Designs April Designers Challenge – Baby

April 30, 2015

Welcome to our April Designers’ Challenge with this month’s theme – “Baby”. Els is expecting her FIRST granddaughter this month so we thought a baby theme would be fun! Let’s see what our talented designers created for you this month!

The first project is from Marsha Valk who created this super-cute onesie using one of the Star Buddies Peel-Offs as an outline and colored in the peel-off with fabric paint. This is such a fun technique! Follow Marsha’s step-by-step instructions on her blog HERE.

To match Marsha’s onesie, we have this beautiful card from Candy Spiegel. We love the way Candy colored the peel-offs to match perfect with the pattern paper she used for her Stand Up Helper card. She used the Congratulations Stand Up Helper and the It’s a Boy word die. See more at Candy’s blog HERE.

Our next featured project is from Raquel Mason who created this sweet Congrats card using the Rubber Ducky Peel-Offs and the new Circles die. We love how she used the negative of the peel-off to decorate the inside of the card. For more info and instructions, visit Raquel’s blog HERE.

Angela Beavers used the Rubber Ducky die to create this adorable Congratulations Baby box. She used the Congratulations Stand Up Helper and the Alphabet 1 – Caps for the word “Baby”. What a fun project! Visit Angela’s blog HERE for instructions.

A very sweet card from our guest designer, Jackeline Rojas, is next. Jackeline used the Tags & More 8 – Lattice die to create her card base and decorated her card with the Eiffel Tower Pop Stand, the Small Tags and the It’s a Girl word die. She used a clever way to create the dress using one of the accessory dies from the Accordion Oval Card and the Tags & More 2 – Deco. See it HERE.

Frances Byrne created this stunning card combining the Rectangle Accordion and the Tag Pivot Card. It is so neat how she used the Paris Edges on each end of the card. To decorate her card, she used our new Owl dies – isn’t he cute?! Visit Frances’ blog HERE for more info.

So many sweet cards today! This one is created by Debra Hensley who used the Congratulations Stand Up Helper and the flowers from Bunch of Flowers 2. The stamp she picked is just adorable and it matches perfectly with the flowers. Find instructions on Debra’s blog HERE

Pop it Ups Wednesday with Caz – Sleeping Whiskers Card

April 29, 2015

Hello Friends,

Caz here with my first “Wednesday With” and today I wanted to share with you a cute little sleeping Whiskers card. I so enjoyed creating the sleeping Dutch the Fox and Honey the Bear in last months Designer Challenge that I wanted to create another. And this time I chose Whiskers the cat to be the next sleeping beauty.

whiskers sleeping outside sleeping whiskers

As with most of the Pop it Up cards I make I tend to make the front of the card really simple and go to town on the inside of the card. So let me talk you through what I did to create the inside.

1. Cut a piece of white card at 6″ x 9″ and score for folding to make a 4.5″ x 6″ card.

2. Cut decorative paper slightly smaller than card, fold and stick in place with glue runner.

3. Align the Lorna Label Pop it Ups die over the centre fold on card. (I have positioned to the right of the card.) Run through cutting machine, since you are cutting two pieces you might want to roll back through the machine to make sure all layers are cut.

4. Once cut glue patterned paper into place properly making sure you get all the folds of the card. You’ll also need another piece of patterned paper to be the backing card. Again, just cut it slightly smaller than the card, fold in half, and glue behind the pop-up, making sure to avoid all the pop-up areas with adhesive. Decorate the front of the card with a decorative Paris Edges die and a greeting of your choice.

5. Cut other pieces as per photograph below – Two pieces from the Lorna Label Pop it Ups die, one in wood paper and one in silver mirror, Two frames from the Rectangle Pull Card, a bath from the Bathtub Pop Stand in brown (trim off the sides as shown) and I partially cut a bathtub with pink card to make the cushion.photo1

6. Cut Whiskers background from grey cardstock (see photograph below) I cut off Whiskers’ head (sorry) and then in the three places marked I cut out small pieces to create legs and definition on the tail.

photo2

7. Use the head that was removed, and trim it down slightly (photograph below) where shown and cut a top layer from grey card. Use a black pen to colour the nose and mouth part and draw two small semi circles for eyes. Stick that part back into place.photo3

8. Using pencils I decorated Whiskers to create a grey tabby. I used the restyled Bathtub to create a comfy stool for Whiskers to sit on and used the other dies that I had cut to create a faux mirror and little picture frames. I printed out photographs of some of my other pop-up cards in miniature to fit the frames. The feet of the footstool are attached to the lower pop-up platform of the Lorna Label. Follow the photo below to arrange the other pieces into a cozy little scene. The stitched decorator die that comes with the Lorna label is the perfect size for a greeting of your choice.

9. I really had to make myself stop from adding more, but I couldn’t resist hand cutting a little mouse door with a piece of cheese outside. I added bows to the purrfect kitty and mirror to really make it look like a place fit for a pampered kitty.

I would love to see how you decorate yours, or how you restyle one of the Characters to make them sleep.

Happy Crafting!

Simple Shrinky Jewelry

April 28, 2015

Hi there! It’s Marsha again! Today I’ve got a really simple but stylish project for you.

Are you excited about the new Spring release? The new dies and peel-offs will be available soon!

I always give my new dies a test run when they arrive. This not only gives me an idea of what the die-cuts will look like, but it also helps me get ideas for what I can do with them.

When I first tried the new Pebbles die, I immediately thought: this will make a nice pendant!

Elizabeth Craft Designs - Pebbles (1026)

I couldn’t figure out what material to use and I had to try a couple of products before I found the answer: shrink plastic!

Marsha Valk | Elizebeth Craft Designs: Simple Shrinky Jewelry

I created a pendant with the new Pebbles die and a bracelet featuring the Jewelry Set 1 – Sea Glass from a previous release.

Here are the steps to create them:

Marsha Valk | Elizabeth Craft Designs: Simple Shrinky Jewelry Step 1

1. Die cut all the pieces you need out of shrink plastic. You will need approximately 10 pieces of Sea Glass to create the bracelet, depending on the size of your wrist.

As you can see in the photo, I used the metal adaptor plate to cut the shrink plastic. It may not be necessary but different brands might give different results.

Marsha Valk | Elizabeth Craft Designs: Simple Shrinky Jewelry Step 2

2. You need to take into account that each piece will shrink to a very small size. It’s best to punch holes in the pieces before shrinkage. I used a crop-a-dile for this but you can also use one of your hole dies.

Marsha Valk | Elizabeth Craft Designs: Simple Shrinky Jewelry Step 3

3. Shrink the die-cut pieces following the instructions on the package of shrink plastic. Mine said: Pre-Heat oven to 325 F (160 C) and bake for 1 to 3 minutes. I put my shrink plastic pieces on a sheet of baking parchment and used that to place them in and out of the oven.

4. Take the pieces out of the oven and let them cool for a few seconds.

5. File the edges of the shrinked pieces smooth if needed.

6. Add a chain to the pendant and string the Sea Glass pieces together with jump rings. Add a jewelry clasp of choice.

And that’s it! Ready to wear!

Marsha Valk | Elizabeth Craft Designs: Simple Shrinky Jewelry

Marsha Valk | Elizabeth Craft Designs: Simple Shrinky Jewelry

If you like, you can use coloured pencils, permanent markers or stamps and StazOn ink to alter your die-cut jewelry pieces before shrinking them in the oven.

I hope you try it, it’s fun!

Have a wonderful day!

Marsha

Hoot!

April 26, 2015

ECDHootwm

Hi everyone,

It’s Frances Byrne here today. Anyone who knows me, knows that I love owls which is why my blog is called StampOwl’s Studio. So, of course, I was super excited when I discovered that one of the dies being released by Elizabeth Craft Designs at the end of this month was going to be an Owl die!! When mine arrived it was the first thing I had to play with. I decided to create a Stand Up card this time around and instead of die cutting the Brick die for the background, I have embossed it which makes this die even more versatile.

ECDHoot2wm

Here is how I created my card:

ECDBaby5wm

1. Cut a piece of pale pink cardstock 4-1/4″ x 11″. Score at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″. Fold along score lines as shown above. Lightly score at 8-1/4″ but do not fold.

2. Position the Grass Stand Up Helper die so that the bottom of the die is lined up along the 8-1/4″ score line created in step 1 and approx 5/8″ from the left side of the card. Die cut, remove the die from the card and now line it up again on the score line but this  time approximately 5/8″ from the right side of the card.

  • Place a piece of Transparent Double-Sided Adhesive to green cardstock that will be large enough to fit the Grass Stand Up Helper die twice. Die cut so that the adhesive is on the bottom, trim along the bottom edge of the grass and adhere on top of the Grass on the pale pink card.
  • Cut a piece of pale pink cardstock 4-1/4″ x 2-5/8″ and adhere to the panel behind the Grass to hide the opening.

3. Cut a piece of cream cardstock 4″ x 2-1/2″ and a piece of pink designer paper 3-3/4″ x 2-1/4″. Ink around the edges of each piece using light brown ink. Layer the designer paper to the cream card. Adhere this to the panel in front of the Grass Stand Up Helper die cut.

  • Place a piece of Transparent Double-Sided Adhesive to dark brown cardstock that will be large enough to fit the “Happy Birthday” die. Die cut and attach to the center of this panel.
  • Use a dark brown Copic marker to color seven large and six medium dots from the Transparent Glitter Dots Peel-Offs.  Use four of each size to decorate the corners as per sample above. Set aside the others for later.

4. For Main Panel

  • a. Cut a piece of cream cardstock 4″ x 5-1/4″ and ink around edges using light brown ink.

ECDHoot4wm

  • b. Cut a piece of burgundy cardstock 3-3/4″ x 5″. Center the Brick die on top of the card and emboss. (Tip: To emboss the die rather than die cutting it, you will need to place the cardstock onto a silicone embossing mat and then the die-cut-side down onto the card, which is then sandwiched between the cutting plates. If you are using a Big Shot, you will be using tab 1. For other die cutting machines refer to your machine’s embossing instructions.)
  • c. Use a sanding block to sand over the embossed bricks and the edges of the burgundy card.
  • d. Layer the burgundy card to the cream card.
  • e. Apply Transparent Double-Sided Adhesive to the back of the bottom half of this panel, ensuring the adhesive does not extend past 2-1/2″ from the bottom. Attach panel to the folded stand up card we created in step 1 so that there is an even border around the two sides and bottom.

ECDHoot3wm

5. Using the Owl Die die, cut the following:

  • (2) branches – one from dark brown cardstock and one from green cardstock. (Apply Transparent Double-Sided Adhesive to the back of the dark brown card before die cutting branch.) Remove leaves from brown branch and adhere over the green branch.
  • (1) Solid Owl – from brown cardstock.
  • (3) Outline Owls – one from brown cardstock, one from cocoa brown cardstock and one from pink designer paper. (Apply Transparent Double-Sided Adhesive to the back of all pieces before die cutting.) Remove the outline only from the dark brown owl and attach this to the solid owl. Before attaching the pieces from the remaining owls use a black marker to color the eyeballs black. Refer to the photo above for placement of attaching the pieces from the cocoa brown owl and the pink designer paper owl.
  • (1) Set eyes – from white cardstock. (Apply Transparent Double-Sided Adhesive to the back of all pieces before die cutting.) Attach to owl as per photo.
  • (1) Beak & Feet set – from yellow cardstock. (Apply Transparent Double-Sided Adhesive to the back of all pieces before die cutting.) Attach to owl as per photo.
  • Attach owl to card using foam tape.

6. Die cut Speech Bubble from the Accordion Rectangle die set from cream cardstock. Ink around edges using light brown ink.

  • Using the Alphabet 1 – Caps die, die cut the letters “HOOT” from dark brown cardstock (which has been backed with Transparent Double-Sided Adhesive). Attach letters to Speech Bubble.
  • Use foam tape to attach Speech Bubble to card.

7. Attach the remaining colored Glitter Dots that we set aside in step 3 to the burgundy panel as per photo.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed my tutorial.

Tulips, Harbingers of Spring

April 25, 2015

Hello! I’m Wendy T. Gibson, the newest Paper Gardener! I’m over the moon to have been invited by Susan to be a part of the ECD Susan’s Garden Design Team 2015 and I can’t wait to show you how her beautiful dies and stamps inspire me to create!

I had to start with the tulip! As a Zone 5 gardener here in Canada, I can’t start safely planting outdoors until the May 24th weekend, so seeing the early tulips as they first appear in the grocery stores really lifts my spirits!  I love them for their promise of warm and sunny days ahead and because they also symbolise gratitude! During WWII, Canada harboured the Dutch Princess Juliana and her daughters while the Nazis occupied the Netherlands. In gratitude, the Dutch Royal family sent 100,000 tulips to Ottawa, our capital, and they grow there to this day! We even have an annual Tulip Festival there every May. Over a million tulips are displayed, making it the largest festival of its kind in the world!Winter Spring

At this time of the year, bisque eggs are readily available at your local craft or dollar store, but you could also use an unpainted wooden egg. Here’s how I turned one into a beautiful flowered ornament, using the lovely Susan’s Garden Notes – Tulip die and the inspiring Seeds of Thought Stamp Winter-Spring! The Garden Notes dies are perfect for a project like this one because they are made to lay flatter on a surface than the more 3D flowers that you can make with the Susan’s Garden dies. Perfect for cards, obviously, but also great for eggs and such!

Instructions:

  1. Die cut tulips, leaves and stems from white cardstock and color with alcohol ink markers. Cut and color 2 stems per flower for added dimension. (This VIDEO from Elizabeth Craft Designs shows Susan Tierney-Cockburn guiding you in fully assembling the tulips, using her ECD  tool set).
  2. Smooth any rough spots or seams on your egg using fine grain sand paper.
  3. Paint your egg in the color of your choice. I went for a shade of Robin’s Egg Blue.
  4. While it dries, stamp the “Winter Spring” saying from Susan’s Garden Seeds of Thought rubber stamps onto tissue paper that matches the color of your egg.
  5. Trim the tissue paper to fit the egg.
  6. Apply gel medium to the side of the egg where you want the saying to be, then carefully smooth your tissue paper over it. Make sure to apply gel medium on top of the stamped saying, too. Pounce your brush on the tissue to get rid of air bubbles and to smooth out any lines.
  7. Apply gel medium to the rest of the egg.
  8. Arrange and glue down tulips and leaves to frame the quote.
  9. Add white dots randomly to highlight quote.
  10. Add a tiny jewel.
  11. Finish it off with a ribbon!

tulip detail

You now have a unique, handmade gift to share with a friend or to display proudly at home! (Better make two!)

I’m so grateful that tulips always keep their promise and that Spring never skips its turn! What’s your favorite Spring flower?

Ice Cream Cone

April 24, 2015

Hello my crafty friends! It’s Raquel Mason here today. Summer is in full swing in South Florida and there’s no better treat than ice cream on a hot day! Let me show you how I made this fun card.

ECD Ice Cream

1.  Cut brown cardstock at 5.5″ x 8.5″ and score at 4.25″ for an A2 sized base card.

2.  Cut pink cardstock at 4″ x 5.25″ and adhere to base. Cut pattern paper at 3.75″ x 5″, ink with brown ink and adhere on top of pink cardstock.

3.  Die cut the following pieces shown below by first adhering a sheet of Transparent Double-Sided Tape to white & tan cardstock:

  • From the Ice Cream Cone die, cut 3 scoops, 2 dripping scoops, 2 cherries and 4 drips from white cardstock.
  • From the Ice Cream Cone die, cut 2 cones from tan cardstock.
  • From the Alphabet 1 die, cut the letters “SCOOPS” from white cardstock. Cover with desired colors of Silk Microfine Glitter.
  • From the Tags & More 1 – Lace die, cut a 4.75″ tag from white cardstock. Place lace decorative die on both top and bottom and die cut. Ink with pink ink then adhere on top of pattern paper.

ECD Ice Cream pieces

4.  Assemble ice cream using photos for placement. Use foam adhesive to adhere cherry on top. Use extra pieces of ice cream to decorate an envelope.

5.  Cut Happy Birthday peel-off apart, place “Happy” on the top left of card and “Birthday” on the top right part of card at an angle. Place Glitter Dots in desired areas.

ECD Ice Cream envelope

ECD Ice Cream open

6.  For the inside of the card: cut pattern paper at 4″ x 5.25″, ink with brown ink then adhere to inside card base.

7.  Cut pink cardstock at 1″ x 4.25″ and adhere to bottom of pattern paper. Apply the outer edges of Glitter Border Lines on pink cardstock.

8.  Print computer-generated sentiment onto white cardstock and die cut using a Lorna Label decorator die and ink with pink ink. Adhere “SCOOPS” between the sentiment. Adhere Lorna Label to top portion of card.

I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial and feel inspired to try it out yourself.

Happy Crafting,

Raquel

I love you Owl

April 23, 2015

Hello everyone,

It’s Joset here and today I would like to show you a card that I made using some new dies and Peel-Offs from our latest release. The dies that I used will be available at the end of this month and the Peel-Offs will be available the first week of May. I fell in love with the new Owl Peel-Off which is also available in a die. I colored on top of the Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter. If you’re new to this technique, make sure to check out the YouTube video by Els. There is a link to the video in step 5 below. Let’s get started!

Owl Joset

1. Cut pink cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold in half.

2. Die cut one Accordion Oval page from pink pattern paper. Cut out center oval and trim long side tab. Then trim each side of the page slightly. Adhere to card front.

3. Optional: Add Transparent/Silver Glitter Border along the outside.

4. Add Transparent Double-Sided Adhesive to a piece of white cardstock, large enough to fit your Owl Peel-Off plus the little heart.

5. Transfer peel-offs to the adhesive following the steps shown in this video by Els. Once you have applied Silk Microfine Glitter, color peel-offs using alcohol markers.

Owl 2 Joset

6. Fussy cut peel-offs using Fine Pointed Scissors.

7. Die cut 4 flowers and centers using Bunch of Flowers 3 from Pink and Light Pink Iridescent Shimmer Sheetz. Make sure to use your Metal Adaptor Plate for cutting Shimmer Sheetz. Tip: for the flower centers, apply Shimmer Sheetz to Double-Sided Adhesive first before die cutting.

8. Die cut 3 Flourishes using Flourishes and Branches from Green Iridescent Shimmer Sheetz. Tip: apply Shimmer Sheetz to Double-Sided Adhesive first before die cutting.

9. Cut a small piece of white cardstock for sentiment. Apply I Love You Peel-Off.

10. Assemble your card as shown in the picture at the beginning. Adhere flowers, flourishes, Owl and heart Peel-Off. Use foam adhesive for sentiment and heart.

I hope you will enjoy creating your own I love you Owl card. See you next time!

Pop it Ups Wednesday with Summer – Gatefold Double Pop-up Card

April 22, 2015

Hello crafty friends, it’s Summer Hills-Painter here.

Today I want to share with you a fun technique, a gatefold double pop up card. I continue to be impressed by all of the things that you can do with Pop It Ups dies since you are not limited by your card size and design. Let me show you how I made my card.

Tutorial finished card open watermarked

Instructions:

1. Cut and score your card bases as well as your layering pieces and accessories. You will need to cut a piece of ivory cardstock at 10” x 7” and score at 2.5 and 7.5”. You will also need to cut a piece of pink cardstock at 9 ¾” x 6 ¾” and score at 2 3/8” and 7 3/8”. I also cut two panels of patterned paper at 2 ¼” x 6 ¾” for the front of the card. Additional paper panels were cut at 3 5/8” x 5 5/8” and at 3 7/8” x 5 7/8” to layer together for the belly band. Cut a strips of paper at 10 x2 7/8 and one at 10” x 2 ¾”.  Cut an ivory panel with the Lorna Label and an ivory panel with the Lucy Label Pop Up die.  Cut leaves from the Rose die and fussy cut a few roses from the patterned paper.

April Tutorial 1

2. Place Lucy Label die on the 2 3/8” score line of the pink paper and run through your die cutting machine. Repeat the process with the 7 3/8” score line. Train your Pop Up to pop up.

April Tutorial 2

3. Adhere your pink cardstock to the middle inside of the ivory cardstock.

Screen Shot 2015-04-22 at 6.34.52 AM

4. Adhere the left and panels together avoiding you pop up area. Repeat the process with the right side of the panels.

Screen Shot 2015-04-22 at 6.35.56 AM

5. Adhere your labels and decorator piece inside the card.

April Tutorial 5

6. Adhere the two 2 ¼” x 6 ¾” panels to the front of the card.

Screen Shot 2015-04-22 at 6.47.21 AM

7. Adhere the 3 5/8” x 5 5/8” panel to the 3 7/8” x 5 7/8” panel. Also adhere the two 10” strips together and score at 2 ½”.

Screen Shot 2015-04-22 at 6.38.20 AM

8. Attach the panel to the  2 ½” scored side of the 10” strip.  Wrap the other side of the strip around the card and attach the panel making a band around the card. This will keep the card from popping open prematurely.

April Tutorial 9

Your card is now complete and is a 5 x 7 size card when folded up.

Dogwood Shadowbox

April 20, 2015

This is Selma Stevenson with a very pretty dogwood flower shadowbox card created with Susan’s Garden – Dogwood dies. Dogwood flowers are either white or pink. I love the delicate pink flowers so that is what I have created for this shadowbox card.

The finished shadowbox is 6″ x 6″. With the pretty lacy top, the height is 7-1/2″. On the side, I created an accordion fold so it will push down flat. The instructions are below.

1. Creating the flowers: die cut all the petals using white cardstock. Use the Leaf Tool from Susan’s Garden Tool Set to draw vertical lines on each petal. Then use the medium-sized ball stylus to shape each petal on the backside as shown in the photo above.

2.  To create the color of my flowers, I used the photo above to try and duplicate the delicate pink on the petals.

3.  Above is a photo of the dogwoods I created.

4. To achieve this coloring, use Rouge PanPastel (light pink) across most of the petal leaving the top and base of the petal white. Next, rub in Magenta PanPastel in the center, blending it well over the light pink PanPastel.  As a rule, I generally color my petals before shaping, but for this flower, I found it was easier to get the color in the middle by bending the shaped petal over my finger and apply the PanPastel with Fantastix Coloring Tool Brush Point.

5. Next, the four shaped petals (as shown above) were glued to the calyx (base) die cut piece. Once the petals have dried on the calyx, you can use the tweezers to add additional shaping.

6. To create the stamen, use the Fine Pointed Scissors (as shown above) to cut between each stamen projection to make them thin. The stamen is rolled and glued closed and placed in the center of the flower using the self-closing tweezers in Susan’s Tool Set. Once the stamen is firmly attached in the center of the flower, add Viva Light Moss Green Paper Pen to the tips of each stamen. Put a very tiny dot on both the front and back of each projection.

7. To create a shadowbox card that folds down flat, start with a piece of 18″ x 12″ white cardstock and cut it down to 18″ x 6″. To create accordion sides, score it at 4-1/2″,  5″,  5-1/2″, 11-1/2″, 12″ and 12-1/2″.

8. The picture above shows how the accordion sides are folded. To create the accordion folds, with top side up, create a valley fold on the center score line and a mountain fold on the two outside lines. Do the same thing on the other score lines. Crease the folds well with a brayer or bone folder.

9.  Use Susan’s Garden Patch – 1-1/2-inch grid die for the window.

10. The die was taped to the front of the card in between the score lines and die cut.

11. The grid die cut a perfect opening for the shadowbox. I did not use the little squares but did use the die cut frame for the inside of the box.

12.  Before attaching the Shimmer Sheetz to the inside of the card, the panels on the back of the shadowbox were adhered with Transparent Double-Sided Tape. To get the back panel folded exactly right, a piece of 6″ x 6″ inch cardstock (shown above) was placed in the back scored lines and then the back panels were adhered, creating a perfectly square box.

13.  This photo above shows how the back pieces overlap. A 6″ x 6″ inch piece of cardstock is glued to the back of the card to finish the backside.

14.  For a pretty background for the dogwoods, use Pink Iridescent Shimmer Sheetz and emboss using the Heart Strings Embossing Folder. The white die cut grid is glued over the Shimmer Sheetz (it is not glued together in this photo). Next, the shadowbox is pressed down in a flat position and the grid is glued in so it perfectly fit inside the die cut opening.

15.  To complete the shadowbox, use Purple/Silver Glitter Ribbon Branches peel-offs on each side of the opening then attach additional dogwoods. Across the top of the box, add two Paris Edges die cuts. Glue one to the inside of the front and the other is cut shorter and glued to the top side of the frame. A piece of glitter paper from the edge of the glitter peel-off is used at the top of the opening and along the bottom. I used some of the scraps from both the Paris Edge die cut and from the border peel-offs.

Shadowbox cards are very easy to create.  I hope you enjoyed this project!
