Since 1982 – Scrapbook Page

March 24, 2015

Hi! It’s Marsha here again! Today I’ve got a scrapbook page to share with you.

Last week I met up with one of my friends for a long overdue catch-up. It was one of the first spring-like days of the year and we were able to have coffee and lunch at a terrace in the sun.

We were chatting the day away, feeling very lucky for meeting on such a beautiful day and, of course, we had to record the moment with a selfie!

Here are the steps to create the page:

1.  Create pattern paper by spraying ink onto sheets of watercolour paper. Leave the papers to dry.

2.  Spray water onto the inside of an embossing folder and use this as a stamp. Remove the water from the paper with a paper towel.

I’ve created a video to show you how I did this exactly:

3.  Cut the watercolour papers into strips. Adhere the strips onto a sheet of white cardstock. You can mix in a couple of embossed strips for added texture.

4.  Machine stitch the outline of the strips.

5.  Attach black thread behind the photo and adhere the photo to the page with foam tape.

6.  Adhere a sheet of Transparent Double-Sided Tape to a sheet of craft foam. Die cut letters and numbers from the sheet with the Alphabet 1 – Caps and Numbers & More 1 dies. You now have your own self adhesive foam alphabet!

7.  Add title to page.

8.  Die cut the Sea Glass die on white cardstock and adhere a couple of the pieces to the page.

9.  Add a couple of black peel-off stickers.

10.  Add journaling.

I hope you try stamping with your embossing folders. It’s a fun little technique that you can use not only on scrapbook pages, but also on cards and other projects!

Have a wonderful day!

Marsha
